I hired this lawyer to represent my case with Buffalo and Associates , he said it was an open and shut case that he could have it resolved in no time, this went on for almost over a year, kept resetting my court date to the point where he let my debt go into default against capital one, I feel he was re K less and didn't really take my case serious enough. I called the Boatd of Professionaks on him, we have a court date against him in Aug, for the actions against my case going into default and causing a garnishment of my wages and lien in my home, I never knew about the court date. This guy is brass and don't let him scare you. He tried that with me and now he has to answer to the Suprem court of Tn about he ethics in the case, I encourage anyone else who was treated like this to reach out to the BOF , they where very helpful and took my case serious. You should never be afraid to exercise your right, they are just words , but actions speak louder than words.

DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY if you want a favorable outcome to your debt collection civil lawsuit. He took money from me upfront but provided no service whatsoever. He allowed a default judgment to be levied against me without my knowledge. I found out my calling the court after repeated emails and phone calls got no response from Mr. Barnette. In fact, he out-and-out lied to me by saying that the lawsuit had been dismissed when it hadn't. When I finally got him to contact me by threatening a lawsuit and informing him that I planned to send documentation to accompany a complaint filed with the TN Board of Professional Responsibility, his response to me was: "go ahead and send away."
He deserves to be disbarred.

Jason Barnette and his staff at Barnette Law Offices, LLC handled a felony case I was charged with in Davidson County Criminal Court in Nashville, Tennessee. The guy is good and got most evidence suppressed. As a result, the DA dismissed the charges. He's the best I've seen in a criminal courtroom.
