I thought she was an Indigenous lawyer because she works on the Reserve but she is not Indigenous. Doesn't work hard enough for her clients, never available and would not recommend.

Ms Porter took on our case - it was a very difficult matter in which we were foster parents and their had been failed kinship placement n reunification with parent - another kinship came forth & we were concerned - she was able to make us parties and ultimately the children remained in our home- it was an extremely complex case without Ms Porter’s expertise and dedication we do not believe it would ended the way it did. Forever grateful

she tried talking me into providing my ex partner with his request even though I had safety concerns for my children and self. During a case conference, I feel she betrayed me by asking my desired child support and child care assistance. She took my thought of allowing unsupervised access (which was only a thought and I made it clear it was only a thought) and wrote my thought down. She led me to believe we would be appearing in front of a Judge and came back with papers for me to sign, little did I realize I had signed a settlement where she included my thought of unsupervised access. After I realized what happened, she had already left the court! I was left unsettled in knowing my childrens safety was now at risk!
