i think this is someone you do not want to hire. i believe him to be crazy overpriced. i believe the retainer amount you pay is a ploy to reel you in because the money doesn't last long. run. read other reviews. especially the negative ones. very important to do your research first.

Mr Attorney Ward says he’s a Christian !!what kind of Christian withdrawal from their client five days before your divorce is supposed to be settled. He does. I had this lawyer for four years and the way he treated me at my divorce trial that dragged out for 11 months he was out of the country never replied back to me overcharged me read carefully through his retainer agreement but I would never recommend going to a lawyer that drops you five days before your divorce trial it’s supposed to be settled poor character horrible to do to somebody !!!

Promised the world that this custody case would be done and over with. 13,000 later and no end in sight we fired him. He was charing 350 per hour to drive 2 1/2 hours was never available to answer questions or for advice but by golly you better give him his money on time or you will hear about it. Money grabbing scum that gives all attorneys a bad name Filed a complaint with OLR and of course because HE had nothing in writing there was no discipline not saying he should not be compensated for travel but not at a rate of 350 per hour. And if that's the case he should have been on the phone with me for the entire trip, not speaking to other clients he is also charging the same rate to talk to while I pay him to drive. Not that any experience with any attorney has been good. But my experience with this one was horrible.

Poor in returning calls and working on a plan to present to the judge. Didn't present facts I felt would have helped my case. Late for court, 15 minutes. I have a complaint going. For $4,500 and all that happened was my child support was slightly reduced, mother has the power to decide everything for the children and the fact she was over 150 miles doesn't matter. Last minute wanted more money to bring in witnesses. Last minutes being 3 days before court. Must not have read the e-mail that I was broke and child support was killing me. All I got was my child suppor tdecides from $812.50 a month to $626.40

I highly recommend Mr. Ward as an attorney. He took my case with one business day notice before trial and I believe he did the best he could to win my case. He worked fast and efficiently. He has excellent communication skills by always keeping me well informed. Which I think is very important in a client-attorney relationship. He was always courteous and due to my special situation, he even had phone meetings with me. He is a good Christian and with his background as a Marine, he will do what he can to win your case. I highly recommend Mr. Ward. I was fortunate to have found him and have him represent me.

Money grabber. Made alot of promises (liar) didn't follow threw on anything. Bad mouthed us to other attorneys after I fired him! He's one terrible person that pushes religion constantly. Also has one rotton personality, he doesn't like a person that thinks. Has a bad habit of not even acknowleding you when you wait in his office.
