I wish I had seen these reviews before I gave this guy $1000.00 to simply make a phone call on a civil case. I wrote the check on 3/27/12, he never called the opposing atty. until 3 weeks later. I never got a letter, phone call, email, text or anything back from him. Therefore, my case went in to default. I am filing a complaint with the Ga. Bar against him and my current lawyer is preparing for a malpractice suit against him. He said my $1000.00 was non-refundable and if I said anything about him on the internet he would take me for everything that I own! After no return phone calls, I showed up at his office to retrieve all my records and they told me to come back later, they needed to scan them. I believe during this time, they typed up 3 one paragraph letters, that they say they mailed to me (how do I not get 3 letters at a PO box??). And I never received a phone call back. Never hire this firm or especially Christopher Brown!!

Gave this lawyer my credit card information over the phone for a deposit for specific assistance with an exisitng divorce case. When he sent me the contract I realized that he was charging me for an entire divorce. I tried to cancel and did not get any reply from him for several days despite calling and emailing. Finally got a phone call from him after I had contacted the state bar association to complain. he argued with me over the phone demanding $2,000 of my $7,500 deposit. Had to have my lawyer speak with him. He reduced the amount to $1,000 he says that he should get. In the meantime, he has left the full amount of deposit on my credit card for 2 months now demanding that I sign the contract with him and pay him the $1,000 or he will not refund my $7,500. I have filed a complaint, but this could take several months to resolve. I do not recommend this lawyer to anyone, especially someone dealing with the stress of a divorce.
