Your better off going to someone else who is interested in their clients.

At first was okay but as time went on, completely let things go, did not respond to calls or emails and said I was not a priority. Did not get letters out. Very frustrating as you are stuck. Eventually had me sign a terrible agreement that basically relinquished rights to my child. Went to another lawyer who successfully changed this right away. Paid out thousands to Kevin who had no interest as new clients are the priority not existing.

Kevin represented me in a divorce in 2009/10. In my opinion he simply did not give the due attention to the file to challenge my ex-spouse's claims. I was uncomfortable with his logic and opinions, and eventually moved to another lawyer who successfully negotiated a financial settlement for me that was less than half of what Kevin recommended I accept.

Kevin was excellent from day one of my separation and divorce file. it took 2 and a half years and he was great throughout. My ex was an extremely difficult person and Kevin was up to the task. He always returned my calls and emails. He gave great advice and performed very well at court. His fees are fair and I would unreservedly recommend him to anyone.

Kevin's great. He gave me legal advice that was effective. He was also extremely friendly and made the situation I was in a lot better.

Handled my very easy divorce and standard will adequately and I felt confident he gave me good advice. Neither he nor anyone at his office returned my calls or responded to emails that I sent, even in response to their emails. If you need something done, he's fine, if you want to have someone you call "your lawyer", he's not the guy.

Kevin Haxell saved my life. If not for his legal manuverings my ex would have succeded at servering my relationship with my three children - my ex hired a top toronto attorney who can only be described as a pit bull - Kevin defended and protected me every step of the way - he was always accomodative with payments - and putting my trust in to him was one of the best decisions I have ever made - I would strongly reccomend Kevin Haxell to anyone who is dealing with a spiteful, manipulative ex - Like I said he saved my life and I will never be able to thank him enough. Kevin only does what needs to be done when working on a divorce file. He will not go to bat for you. He does not speak up in court on your behalf even when asked to. He will not return phone calls unless there is money attached to the call. After signing documents, my ex reneged on the agreement Kevin will not return calls. Kevin needs to stick to one area of law if he's any good at either that he practices.

Acted for me on a house purchase, which I assume is fairly standard. If you are looking for someone to do this but require no communication with your lawyer (emails or calls), he can do it, but if you actually have a question to ask of him, good luck getting a response

Kevin acted for my organisation in a leasing agreement and was knowledgeable, expeditious and saved us money. He has acted for two friends in divorce cases and both report on him favourably.

I used him for a family law matter. He screwed me by encouraging me to leave the matrimonial home. This was a big mistake. Lost custody, home and job.

while he was acting on my behalf never opened his mouth in court. allowed the defendant ex-husbands lawyer say anything he wished. It was a disaster for me. There was an important witness that came to court for me. He made the excuse that he had not informed the defendants lawyer therfore the witness could not take the stand. He sent the witness home. I had to do an appeal myself due to his complete incompehence or maybe something else. I was sucessful in the court of appeal. The 3 judges in the appeal court totally agreed with me. Kevin Haxell is a pro at ruining peoples life if you allow him to do so.
