Mr. Genis has provided me the best experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer. I had an old DUI on the books, a little over ten years old. The original evidence against me was pretty damning. Through tireless persistence over several hearings over about 2 months, Mr. Genis was able to ultimately have all 3 charges dropped. In previous cases, lawyers I have paid simply do the least work possible to plea the charge down to something a little bit weaker, and that’s it. Not this time. I’ve finally seen what a real lawyer can do.

I am beyond grateful for the work that Mr. Genis did for my daughter on her DUI case. She made a terrible decision to drive after a night out with friends. Mr. Genis was incredibly tenacious and got my daughter's case eventually dismissed. Now my daughter can learn from her mistake and move on with her life without a conviction on her record.

Being handed a difficult case to win, with the B.A.C. being about 3 times the legal limit, and getting pulled over by driving the wrong way down a one way street, he was able to reduce both counts of DUI to a wet and reckless. This is unheard of in a case like this. I did not have to appear in court once. A wet and reckless can be expunged off your record after 18 months. I was very happy with the outcome of my case.
Darryl, and his lovely team of assistants, treated me with respect, and made me feel like they really cared about my case, and getting me the best possible outcome. Hands down best Lawyer to handle a DUI case. He got my DUI dropped down to a driving infraction within 8 months of my arrest. I was so scared and bombarded with so many attorney letters I didn't know where to turn. So I started reading reviews for the best lawyers online and Mr. Genis' name popped up. I also had a roommate who was cleared of a underage DUI a couple years back by using Daryl Genis as well. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to put a bad mistake behind them and move forward. He is well worth every penny. And as a broke college student I really couldn't afford to lose.

Darryl Genis has not just knowledge of law, but comprehension of layers of related subjects and data that influence decisions in the court. His courtroom strategy was inspired, accepting the first twelve jurors as competent and narrowing the defense immediately to them. He demonstrated ability to focus jurors on issues required to be proven beyond any reasonable doubt. He meets juries face to faces and connects issues to them as though they can imagine they were the accused, and convincingly illuminates the progression of data into substantial doubt areas that cannot be ignored. His decades of experience and continuing education with the related arenas such as alcohol effects over time and resulting drinker actions and reactions contributes to the jury's perception that he has understanding of causes and effects that the law often tries to ignore. I hoped to never NEED a lawyer, but when I did I'm glad I found Mr. Genis. I was accused of a DUI close to a year ago and needless to say I was mortified. I had never been in trouble with the law, yet I was treated like a ruthless criminal. I was put at ease when I met Mr. Genis and he explained the various ways that DUI tests are flawed. After hiring Mr. Genis, he and his staff consistently informed me of the progress of my case. Though the process took about a year, a few weeks ago all charges against me were dismissed. I couldn't believe it. This was a horrible experience but I'm glad I chose Mr. Genis, I couldn't imagine anyone else handling my case with such care and attention.

I GOT A DUI IN VENTURA COUNTY WHICH OFCOURSE IS THE WORST PLACE TO GET A DUI IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. I FOUND MR GENIS BY LOOKING ONLINE AND HIS GREAT REVIEWS. IT WAS MORE THEN I WAS HOPING TO PAY FOR A DUI CASE BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. MY CASE WAS POSTPONED FOR SOME TIME AND WENT TO TRIAL A YEAR LATER AND WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO THE TRIAL MR GENIS WAS ON IT. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND IS GOOD IN TRIAL. IT WAS HARD AT TIMES BECAUSE HE IS VERY BUSY SO YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET A HOLD OF HIM BUT HIS STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. MY TRIAL ENDED WITH A HUNG JURY BUT MR.GENIS FILED A MOTION FOR DISMISSAL AND FOUGHT IT WHEN THE DA ASKED FOR A RE-TRIAL AND THANKFULLY THE JUDGE DISMISSED THE CASE. MR. GENIS WAS GREAT AND I AM THANKFUL TO HIM AND HIS OFFICE. BETWEEN GOD AND DARRYL MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL IN NEED OF A DUI LAWYER.

I have to say, after almost a year of horrendous court appearances every month, walking out of the court house today April 6, 2011 with the DUI charges dropped, seems like a dream. I am still in shock and I cannot believe Mr. Genis made it happen! How? I asked him crying of joy and shock. How did you do it? "I told you I would get you out of this" he says, "and I keep my word" and so he did. I was first stopped almost a year ago in May of 2010 where the officers not only insulted me and disrespected me but handcuffed me and sent me straight to jail. The reason i was pulled over was I was texting and swerved. My bad luck was the sheriff right behind me and I happened to have had one glass of wine right before I got in the car. After a sleepless night in jail my world started to shatter every day more and more until I hired Mr. Genis. My husband had the unfortunate mistake of partaking in a few beers and catching the attention of the CHP.
