I would not recommend this lawyer. Most of these reviews seem to be fake, I would save my money and look elsewhere, she does not take the legal system seriously.

Judith fought hard but twisted the truth to my advantage everyway possible. In the end I got what I wanted but felt she mislead the court when it came to my ex and made me out in a different light to maximize my settlement. She is good but at what cost. My family relationship has been impacted with my children and my ex was destroyed.

Judith is wonderful not just as a lawyer but a great human being. I was fighting a nasty person in my divorce who was a con artist and had stolen my assets and money. Judith first made me learn the personality type I was dealing with and then came hard on my Ex and his lawyer. Ultimately his lawyer even quit several times as he recognized his own client was a scammer. I am very very thankful to Judith for not only getting me the divorce but saving me from a psychopath. Judith is not a cheap lawyer but once you are through with her, every dollar spent will be worth it. I often tell other lawyers too how much I respect Ms. Judith Holzman.

fights hard for you. knows the system. listen to her advice during this stressful time. at times i didn't listen and was burned. you need to listen to her advice. in the end you will get what you want from your settlement. my ex wide was extremely aggressive in wanting everything, judith made sure she got less than 50% lol. i love this lady.

A very good lawyer...at making money for herself. Added words to settlement agreement without discussing, leading to failure of settlement and onto full arbitration and much higher costs. Letters are riddled with typos and miscalculations (which she claims are typos) - makes one wonder if she is unethical or unprofessional. Miscalculations in her billing statements too (to her advantage). Even had incorrect name of her own client in separation agreement. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Judith is a true blessing! She is knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of family law. She understands how the court system works and is supportive along the process. She not only is an amazing lawyer but is a wonderful person. I can't thank Judith enough for all she has done for me and my daughter.

I wish I had gone to Ms. Holzman 10 years ago to settle issues with my ex. Judith knows her stuff and is available 24/7. I had to deal with an ex who thought he was above the Court system. It only took a few letters from Judith and my ex did exactly what was required of him from a Court perspective. Thank you Judith. The best lawyer you will every encounter.

Went to Judith after a very bad experience wit a supposed "big shot" down town lawyer. He dragged me on for 3 years with no results except pain. Judith settled my case in 8 mths. to my satisfication. She did this without the conflict and games my previous lawyer played. She was ethical and caressing.Highly recommend her.

Fantastic lawyer!! Very happy with her services and her staff is awesome. From start to finish my divorce was 6 mths. and a lot less painful than I imagined. Judith provided not only legal support but also emotional support. She is a great lady!!

Good lawyer. Mrs. Holzman knows her stuff. Answer calls quickly and promptly, works weekends and late night. She was my second lawyer as my first one didn't work weekends nor did she work at night. Judith got me the settlement I liked and I am happy with her services. It was rather quick also.

Aggressive when she needed to be.Laid back when she needed to be. Did my case in under a year. No fuss, no mess. I was happy with her. She never mislead me or lied to me or seemed to drag things on. I would use her again. Knock on wood I won't need a divorce lawyer again. This is very stressful.

first off why are reviews from the "other end" being allowed here. of course the "other end" will hate judith. that's her job. while expensive, and which divorce isn't, Judith looks sweet but is tough as nails and smart as a whip. she takes no crap and fights for you . if you want a timid, cheap lawyer go elsewhere Judith ain't your lady for that. if you want a lawyer who will fight hard and knows her law she's the one. i was in north york (with that whacky book writing judge)and judith exceeded my expectations. got a low ss and cs. other side was angry but good. that's what lawyers are for.

Divorce is ugly and it cost a lot of money. I knew this going in. Judith got me what I wanted and more. Yes the process took long- blame the courts not Judith. This is, unfortunately, my second divorce and I used Judith on a recommendation from a close friend. She is the best. I wish I had her for the first one. As a man she got me min. spousal and child support payments. In the long run it will be worth it.

Overall an OK lawyer, however she likes to write long winded letters and drags things out too much, just to rack up more bills. I got most of what I wanted out of my ex however I had to spend a good portion of it on Judith. She's good if both couples of amicable and they know exactly what they want out of a divorce. But if you and your ex don't get along she will take advantage of you and drag things out just so that she makes more money.

Excellent lawyer. Was able to get me full custody from my abusive husband. She was always available for me and no matter what time I called she was there. If she was in court she would call me ASAP. She helped me through a very difficult time and I owe her a lot. She is more than a lawyer. She is a friend.

excellent lawyer. finished my case sooner than expected. very knowledgeable about the law. i was awarded cost on a few motions as my ex was trying to bully me. she fights hard for you. i owe her a lot. highly recommended.

Mrs. Holzman charges more than most lawyers in the area but she is the best for York Region. Well respected at Newmarket. She is spot on with her advice and is very good at what she does. She was my 2nd. lawyer as my first was a disaster. Judith fights hard. My only complaint is that I would like to see a little bit more aggression towards the other side but Mrs. Holzman is very ethical and doesn't play "games". The other side did and dragged this on. Anyways I won so I don't care but I would have liked to see the other side sweat more.She is he the best for the area and fights hard for you.

Judith is a great lawyer. Her staff are available at all time, Judith herself is available 24 hrs. per day if need be.I found she took my nightmare divorce and turned it around. She was my third lawyer. She won 3 motions and got cost so I can't complain. She's not cheap but I think she's worth it.

Gave me wrong information,false hopes and made statements on my behalf to my ex-husband's lawyer without my consent.She can turn to be your enemy if you don't agree with her. kept talking to my ex-husband's lawyer on and on to charge me more lagal fees. Her staff is hostile. She lost my case and I had no choice but to accept an unfair settelement to avoid her legal fees. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely the worst decision made was hiring ms. Holzman. In the end, which should have been a short simple divorce, got dragged on for well over a year. She did not follow through on any promises. What was supposed to be a win for me, cost me my children, and tens of thousands of dollars. In the end I negotiated my own terms, while holzman did nothing. Avoid avoid avoid

Fights hard. Only problem is she's too honest and sometimes dirty lawyers win in Family Court. Judith knows her stuff though and will kick butt when needed.
