Alla Koren represented my ex-husband…. Extremely rude and unprofessional- my ex and her found each other!!! The way she communicated with me and my lawyer was horrible!

Alla is not a bad lawyer. If your case is between her and the other lawyer you might be ok. If your case requires court intervention or motion you should stay away. She makes very Junior mistakes which makes judges get frustrated with you even before you are heard. She also prefer her relationship with the other lawyer over her own client interest so do your research against who you are going to face before choosing your lawyer.

The main issue with Alla Koren is her poor English. When you are in her office, she speaks with her clients in Russian, which is super convenient if you have former USSR background and your English is far from perfect. And even if your English is great, the last thing you would suspect after reading her written English that she doesn’t speak fluently, and it does affect your case. Then you realize that her documents prepared by people with good English, but she is the one who goes to judge, not her assistants, and it does hurt you. Even bigger issue is she isn’t here to help - she knows how to start case, write briefs, affidavits, application, but she has no strategy on how to end it. The only observed strategy is 15K bill for each court appearance, with typically no outcome. I’d say both Alla Koren and her long friend/opponent Alexandra Abramian need to be avoided by everyone.

Alla was the 3-rd lawyer, I worked with and she is, hands down, absolutely the best. Not only she was able to complete, what other highly rated and very much recommended people did not in the previous 5 years. She ended the 6 years of the high conflict divorce and custody battle with the results, that I am very pleased with. Her undeniable expertise saved me from spending money on a trial (that would be about $150.000 at least). She was always prepared for all the meetings, and case conferences; keeping in memory every detail.She operates at the level of the highest standards of the professional practice. She is also amazing on a personal level: honest, wise, tactful, kind, supportive and is equally excellent communicator in Russian and English.

Why do the judges tolerate her impudent behaviour? She interrupts lawyers, and the court turns to be one-sided. So it turns out that there is no chance for a fair decision. This approach is inhuman in its essence. Alla Koren must be revoked. Especially women are better off not contacting her. When Alla Koren presents in court, Themis and Dike leave the room.

I am an extremely fortunate man and father, as my path led me to the doors of Ms. Koren’s office. Ms. Koren’s knowledge, experience and compassion made me believe that not all is lost! She guided me through everything, from legal to personal advices, step-by-step. Ms. Koren kept me from making me unnecessary and costly mistakes. While keeping on top of every little detail of my case, day and night, holidays and weekends, she was also the first one to congratulate me on my birthday and every holiday. Alla Koren has been representing my ex-partner. During the last 8 months, all I have seen from her was accusations and insults. Her tactic is to create more issues between the involved parties to make their case more complicated to make more money. She is a good story teller by advising her client to lie about their ex-partner. She convinces her clients to involve the police to bring false assault charges against their ex and uses the kids access as a tool to negotiate. She uses many dirty tricks and is an expert in assumptions and allegations that eventually all become proven to be false in courts. She uses new graduates to do her writings. Her English is weak and when in court she keeps quite and cannot make a meaningful and logical argument. I am glad that she represented my ex because I won every single motion which was not cheap and emptied mine and my ex-partner's pocket. When Alla Koren took over my extremely complicated case, it had already been in the court for 4 years. My legal battle had become an endless ordeal, and no other lawyer who I turned to contemplated a reasonable resolution. The judge was highly anticipated to send the case to trial which would leave me financially ruined, but the outcome would be far from certain. Alla thoroughly examined my case in every detail, attentively listened to my reasoning, diligently considered all options, and strengthened my position in the most ingenious way. During her first and only appearance at my case conference, Alla averted the trial and negotiated an agreement in my benefit. Unquestionably the biggest waste of money you will ever spend. GAve her proof of multiple abuse reports, occurrences and videos and charges and she never used any of it. (on purpose as it would have ended proceedings). She failed to show at court. As soon as I fired her and represented myself, I started to win. Gave her $53,000 ans she literally sat in court and never said a single word while the other side led thru their teeth. Finally I fired her and I stated winning shocking the judge. She is a worthless human being and theres a reason why she keeps her office under lock all day. SHe probably has a 1000 clients that want to go after her for screwing people out of their hard earned money. Expect to lose your case and your money. She's garbage

This lawyer is a joke. She never shows up for court. She gets absolutely nothing done. Alla has major ego problems and refuses to attend court until 2pm. Get out of bed Alla!!! Her 'positive' reviews are clearly written by herself. They all start with 'I came to Alla'... So obvious!

I have a bit of a complicated case. After going to 3 different lawyers I still had some unanswered questions, so I wanted to find someone who is very experienced. My friend who recently went through divorce highly recommended Alla Koren. I was impressed with Alla's level of expertise - after our consultation I got all the information that I needed in order to make a weighed decision. Alla was very attentive to the details of my case and extremely knowledgeable. Besides, even after years of working in the field, Alla still possesses a great deal of compassion. I can not say enough about my 4 year court dealings with Alla and Victoria. If I had to pick a few words to describe Alla's practise I would say, communicative, assertive, ensuring, sucessful, empathetic, strong and efficient. Alla made me comfortable and kept me informed every step. She was super efficient and very organized in court and out, she was always on my side. Victoria stepped in to assist in the last year with closing the case out and I found her to be effective and through as well. Most important quality I found with both Alla and Victoria is they listened and allowed me to make decisions based on their guidence and always provided me with answers to all my questions very quickly (I hear this is other's nightmare to hear back from their lawyers) It was never an issue with me EVER! I came to Alla with a troubling and urgent family problem that needed to be dealt with right away. We came to Alla completely distraught and with no hope. From the beginning Alla was honest with us, she reviewed everything with great detail and her advice came with knowledge and confidence. She impressed us even more when we saw her in action during mediation. We were also honest with her about our limited funds and she respected that situation by giving us options where possible that saved us money. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS LAWYER HAS BEEN TRAIDING YOUR INTERESTS WITH OPPOSIUNG LAWYER. SHE ALMOST ALWAYS ENTERED IN TO THE AGREEMENT WITN THE OTHER LAWYER AND BETRAIDE HER CLIENT'S ITNERESTS. I LOST MY CASE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO SEE MY TOW CHILDREN FOR LONG TIME. I WAS KICKED OUT FROM THE HOUSE WITH THE POLICE. I LOST EVERYTHING. PLEASE, PLEASE NEVER HAVE ANY DEAL WITH THIS TERRIABLE LAWYER.
