Alla was the 3-rd lawyer, I worked with and she is, hands down, absolutely the best. Not only she was able to complete, what other highly rated and very much recommended people did not in the previous 5 years. She ended the 6 years of the high conflict divorce and custody battle with the results, that I am very pleased with. Her undeniable expertise saved me from spending money on a trial (that would be about $150.000 at least). She was always prepared for all the meetings, and case conferences; keeping in memory every detail.She operates at the level of the highest standards of the professional practice. She is also amazing on a personal level: honest, wise, tactful, kind, supportive and is equally excellent communicator in Russian and English.

You can do better so keep shopping. She is only interested in your money. Do yourself a favour and move on. Even judges are annoyed by her and that doesn’t help you. Run

This lawyer is a joke. She never shows up for court. She gets absolutely nothing done. Alla has major ego problems and refuses to attend court until 2pm. Get out of bed Alla!!! Her 'positive' reviews are clearly written by herself. They all start with 'I came to Alla'... So obvious!

I can not say enough about my 4 year court dealings with Alla and Victoria. If I had to pick a few words to describe Alla's practise I would say, communicative, assertive, ensuring, sucessful, empathetic, strong and efficient. Alla made me comfortable and kept me informed every step. She was super efficient and very organized in court and out, she was always on my side. Victoria stepped in to assist in the last year with closing the case out and I found her to be effective and through as well. Most important quality I found with both Alla and Victoria is they listened and allowed me to make decisions based on their guidence and always provided me with answers to all my questions very quickly (I hear this is other's nightmare to hear back from their lawyers) It was never an issue with me EVER! I highly recommend these two lawyers to be on your side for any given oportunity. To put it in simple terms they treat you like family during hard times professionally. Sonya in Aurora.

Like so many people in my position, I was the last person I ever thought would be going through a divorce. I was lost and confused and being bullied and demeaned by my ex-husband. The minute I met with Victoria Matushenko (an Associate at Alla Koren) I felt a huge wave of relief. She was personable, clear and knowledgeable and I could tell she could be very strong when necessary. She walked me through each step of the process and always made sure I understood what was happening and what my rights and options were. She informed me and advised me of the legalities but always allowed me to make my own decisions in the end. She was quick ad efficient and always delivered more than I expected. With Victoria’s help I was able to obtain a settlement that was three times more than I was likely going to get without her. Because of Victoria, I now have the financial means to make a fresh new start but most importantly the whole process helped me to regain a sense of self-worth and confidence.

I came to Alla with a troubling and urgent family problem that needed to be dealt with right away. Considering the amount of time Alla had to deal with our issue and the amount of pressure that came along with it, she solved with remarkably. Alla put in an exceptional amount of effort, dealt with the everything in a professional and strict manner. Her services to me are more than I expect; this was my second time turning to her and again I am more than satisfied with what she's done. I can't thank her enough for her hard work and the level to which she commits with her clients. She has a vast amount of knowledge with family law and would recommend her to anyone in need of help.
