I got in a car accident out of state and had concerns about how it would effect my Michigan license. I called grabel & associates on a weekend and Mr. Grabel called me back right away. Shiawassee is a tough place to be charged with a crime. The city of Perry has a bizarre set of circumstances. When my family was in trouble, we looked on the Internet and found Grabel and Associates. This firm did an outstanding job representing me in a DUI case. I was dealing with a police department that falsified a police report. My husband was charged with raping his step-daughter. He was facing 25 years in prison. Our family was torn apart. We looked up Grabel and Associates and met with Winnie Riche. I hired Scott Grabel to defend me against false accusations of criminal sexual conduct 4th degree. From the very beginning Scott promptly responded to my website case information submission and was extremely proactive and attentive to the case. If I had not hired Scott and had his proactive handling of the case, to avoid being charged for these false accusations, it would have been detrimental to my family and career.
Scott felt like a family member going to bat for you and the passion he has for defending you cannot he equaled. I am a very picky person and I can not express enough how grateful I am to have had him in my corner to make sure I received the best possible defense a person can get.
The allegations caused the greatest amount of fear, stress and anxiety I have ever been through but Scott alleviated much of that due the level of confidence he inspires. I could never thank Scott enough!!

Words can't describe how thankful I am with Scott Grabel and his associate, Marcie Ridley. I made a mistake in my mid 20's and my license was revoked indefinitely. I never thought I would be able to get it back. I tried the appeal process myself in 2014 and was quickly denied. I lost all hope. Then, late last year(2018), they were able to get my cousin's license back for him and his mistake was far greater than mine(vehicular homicide) so I decided to try again but with Scott Grabel and Associates.I paid them all up front and figured it was my last shot and then today, 9/27/19 I was able to walk into the dmv and get my driver's license back. From the time I paid them until today was maybe only five months or so and now, after 15 years, I'm a legal driver again. I lost my drivers license after getting two DUIs within seven years. Once I became eligible to request an appeal I started contacting law offices. I spoke with several lawyers and everyone except Grable & Associates told me I would lose my first appeal and get my license on the second try (they told me thats just how it works!). I am proud to say that I was granted the right to drive last week, it was my first appeal. My attorney Marcy Ridley was professional and knowledgable. She made sure I was prepared and it payed off. I got my first Impaired driving when I was 21 in March 2013. I received my second DUI when I was 22 in October 2014. I was placed on probation for my first DUI and had a handful of violations. I received my second DUI while I was on probation for my first DUI. After that I buckled down and got through my probation with no more violations. There are a couple critical areas every defendant in a criminal matter should look for in selecting an attorney.
1). Does your attorney counsel you through the miserable and anxious criminal process?
2). Does your attorney have the respect of the Prosecutor and Judge?
Scott Grabel is outstanding in both. I had a previous experience in a long drawn out criminal matter where I felt my defense attorney was the prosecutor. The two year process was one where my attorney wanted me to take a plea after he initially assured me we had a slam dunk case and he would vigorously defend me. After awhile you become beaten down and tired of feeding the meter so you settle for something you may regret. NOT SO with Scott Grabel! As a matter of fact, I was the one willing to settle on a reduced charge from a felony to misdemeanor. Mr. Grabel is one in a million. He truly is one of a kind. It is so nice to know that there are attorneys who care about those they represent. He represented my husband on a serious matter (controlled weapon charge). While working out of state my husband was pulled over on a routine traffic stop. He had a knife in his care which was placed there for a work related matter (without his knowledge). He was charged with a felony. I contacted Mr. Grabel at 11pm, never expecting to get an answer. That was the kind of support we experienced throughout the life of this case. Mr. Grabel was a strong advocate for my husband. He provided very clear guidance and told us exactly what would happen. He may be excellent as a trial attorney but don't believe him if he says he "do" your appeal. I worked with his associates for all the 'leg work' and they were excellent. After a year wait, it was time to argue the appeal in front of the justice's and where was Mr. Grabel? Not in court where he was paid to be.

If you are in the bad position of regaining your drivers license than contact Scott Graebel law firm. They work hard and understand your situation and the hard time the secretary of state will give you. They guarantee results so you may start driving again. Do not do this complicated procedure on your own. When Graebel and his partner lawyers walk into the dlad hearing room, they know that they cannot pull any rule 13 guidelines on you because they are not intimidated by the dlad. They got mine back and I had a horrible alcohol related driving offenses on the record. Call Scott if you want to win!

SCOTT GRABEL & ASSOCIATES SAVED MY LIFE FROM PRISON WHEN I WAS ACCUSED OF A CSC CHARGE THAT WAS NOT TRUE, SCOTT GRABEL SAT DOWN WITH ME AND LISTENED TO WHAT WAS GOING ON AND AFTER HIRING SCOTT GRABEL HE WENT TO WORK AND PROVED THAT THIS WAS JUST WHAT IT STARTED OUT TO BE A COMPLETE FALSE STATEMENT, IF IT WERE NOT FOR SCOTT GRABEL DOING WHAT HE NEEDED TO DO TO PROVE THIS I WOULD PROBALY BE DOING LIFE IN PRISON FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT DO.
