I got in a car accident out of state and had concerns about how it would effect my Michigan license. I called grabel & associates on a weekend and Mr. Grabel called me back right away. This firm did an outstanding job representing me in a DUI case. I was dealing with a police department that falsified a police report. My husband was charged with raping his step-daughter. He was facing 25 years in prison. Our family was torn apart. We looked up Grabel and Associates and met with Winnie Riche. If I could rate this law firm higher than a 5 star rating I would! They are absolutely amazing. I will start with some background info on myself. I just turned 25 in January 2017. I got my first Impaired driving when I was 21 in March 2013. I received my second DUI when I was 22 in October 2014. I was placed on probation for my first DUI and had a handful of violations. I received my second DUI while I was on probation for my first DUI. After that I buckled down and got through my probation with no more violations. Everyone kept telling me you will get denied your first hearing, nobody gets it back their first try. This was very discouraging. Mr. Grabel is one in a million. He truly is one of a kind. It is so nice to know that there are attorneys who care about those they represent. He represented my husband on a serious matter (controlled weapon charge). While working out of state my husband was pulled over on a routine traffic stop. He had a knife in his care which was placed there for a work related matter (without his knowledge). He was charged with a felony. I contacted Mr. Grabel at 11pm, never expecting to get an answer. That was the kind of support we experienced throughout the life of this case. Mr. Grabel was a strong advocate for my husband. He provided very clear guidance and told us exactly what would happen. My son had a ticket for driving under a suspended license and Scott was able to get it down to a "defective equipment" ticket which we were very happy with. Scott's communication with us was impeccable! He kept us informed of everything that was going on with the case up until the court date. Scott went above and beyond. He was very up front, honest and caring. He is also VERY aggressive. He actually cares about his clients. He talks a big game, but from how he helped me on my case.. he should. To top it off, I was on the phone ready to pay $1745 of what i owed him, and because my family was struggling horribly, he checked over his time invested and he said we were "even" and DIDN'T TAKE IT!!
