Steve Ortoleva is quite simply a thief. He billed me 85k for my divorce case over an 11 month period. He kept tricking me into thinking the case would become final soon. Constant pointless meetings, he lied numerous times, failed to file necessary motions and would literraly yell at me if I asked questions why things were not getting done. He would berate me if I asked a question. His famous lines : are you going to try this case on your own? Where's your law degree from? There's no other attorney in RI that can "win" this case. My bad for being naive. He literally accomplished nothing. My new attorney told me he is well known for just taking advantage of people with these tactics. Criminal

He is a highly skilled lawyer who really knows his numbers. He really helped me with my divorce where my husband had a business and was trying to hide money. Definitely happy that Steve was on my side. It made all the difference.

Worst attorney I have EVER dealt with he is money hungry with hidden fees, because he subpeonas everything. and expects you to pay when you were not in agreement with his findings. And to LOSE the case was just a slap in my face! I would not let him represent my DOG! Good luck to the next SUCKER in line!

I have just finished a very successful business deal that Mr. Ortoleva represented me on. I am very pleased with his representation, honesty and legal knowledge. I will hire him in the future and have recently referred him to other business associates.

Mr. Ortoleva has represented me on several occasions and has at all times been aggressive creative and always successful. I often seek his council on different business endeavors. Aside from basic law practice, Mr. Ortoleva thinks outside the box, maximizing his record for success.

Stephen has been my lawyer for over 30 years and has represented me on several matters including divorce, business, and personal matters. He is the most assertive, knowledgeable, and caring attorneys I have worked with. I have recommended him several times to my family and friends and everyone was satisfied with the level of service and results he gets. Stephen is the original Heavy Hitter.

You definitely get what you pay for when you hire Steven Ortoleva. He reviews all the facts, talks to you at length about your expectations, tell you what to expect and then goes to work. I have had a couple of working relationships with him and both times have been positive. If you are looking for a wishy washy lawyer, don't go to Steve, but if you want a strong player in your corner... he's your man.
