A family friend called me to ask me to find a criminal attorney for a young girl that had been arrested at the Miami airport importing almost a kilo of cocaine. I searched online and was able to find the Law Firm of Frank Gaviria. I called his office and quickly realized he was very knowledgeable in Drug cases. I was dismayed in learning the young lady was facing a 15yr minimum jail sentence. I read the reviews on several sites and hired Mr. Gaviria. He did not disappoint. I am a student at the University of Miami and began to run in to some legal trouble in 2012. I had several felony charges such as battery and grand theft auto. I did not know what to do and eventually in March of 2016 picked up an additional five charges several of which were drug related. Seeing I failed to appear for my 2012 felony charges several warrants were issued for my arrest. Upon being arrested in March 2016 I was faced with a no bail situation and being held for 21 days in Dade County Jail. As I did not know what to do I called a fellow UM student who told me to call Frank right away. Frank met me at my next hearing and had me out of jail and back in school. Within a month not only were my new charges dismissed the old felonies from 2012 were gone as well. If you find yourself in any form of legal trouble do yourself a favor and call Frank immediately! I have shopped the Miami attorney market and the man is hands down number one!

Briefly put, I was facing a 25 year minimum mandatory sentence on Drug Trafficking charges.
I was reluctant at first, to trust ANYONE, but I gave Frank my trust and he had my charges reduced and I am now home with my family. Thanks Frank. Thanks a billion.

Let me begin by saying that Frank Gaviria is truly an excellent attorney. I know, because he came through for me big time...twice! So why do I say this? Let me tell you.
I have had the occasion to seek legal counsel twice in the last two years. First, for a relative who had a complicated case and recently for myself. Frank took quick and effective action both times. He has an edge. He showed me that he wasn’t just going through the steps. He won’t talk your ear off and won’t B.S. you but he does what he says he will do and all without leading you on or ‘blowing smoke’. From our conversations, his demeanor in court, and seeing how he easily interacts with the prosecutors and court officials I could see he is a winner.
But what counts most are the results he has gotten for me. Frank is just who I wanted and definitely needed in my corner. And I would think he’s who anyone would want on their side, a fierce competitor who wants to win for himself and most importantly, for you.

I was recommended to Mr. Gaviria by my family attorney. My son had gotten himself into serious problem (Drug trafficking Charges). I thank GOD for Mr. Gaviria. Charges dismissed. I was surprised about some negative reviews mostly because Mr.Gaviria. I asked my family attorney who said every attorney is late, because all court appearances are at 9 am and they can't be in two places at once-nothing happens until the attoreny gets there so it"s normal for an attorney to not be there the second the case is called. He is amazing!!

I couldn't rate the knowledge because I wouldn't know, he didn't try to defend me. Worse attorney in Miami, if you stand a fighting chance, run! Find someone else. I had 2 opportunities to see this attorney "in action" to no avail! Best advice you'll get from him is "take the deal" even if it means that you'll have a record or best case scenario you'll just be treated unfairly. I wouldn't recommend this "attorney" to anyone, he only wants your money, once he has it, it's amazing how fast he'll leave you in court alone. Oh, and one more thing, if he shows up, he'll be late for sure! AGAIN, WORSE ATTORNEY IN MIAMI!!!

I am very grateful to Frank because I was accused of traffic of Marijuana, and the lawyer Frank in 20 days obtained ' not action ' in the Court. Several times I called him to the office, even on a Saturday in the final days of the year, and they always attended to me. My experience with the services of Gaviria were positive. A very professional and well spoken attorney. With over 20 years of experience, i felt very comfortable with his representation. My case involved several felonies that after some restitution is paid, charges will be dropped . I recently re hired frank for a domestic violence charge , while still enrolled in my prior paying for the restitution . Even after my new case he managed to get me out of jail,drop my domestic violence charge and re enroll me back into paying my restitution. I cant be any more contempt in my decision picking Frank as my attorney ...

He showed up for cout 2 hours late,no phone calls to even say he was running late.His office said it would take several months to get resolution, yet they called two days before about a court date. When phone calls made to Frank no response. He didn't know any of the court details and advised to take the plea. After emailing his office several times requesting information no response. He is is the worst attoney that anyone can hire. Please be aware

I saw Frank Gaviria on TV dealing with the Barbara Goldman School stabbing so I decided to give him a call. CALL HIM! He handled both case it amazingly well because both cases got Dismissed! I am so happy to him as my lawyer!

He was to my court date, and once he was paid it seemed like he wanted to finish the case as quickly as possible. I would not recommend him to anyone. There are better lawyers out there.

I recently had a situation where I needed a lawyer to defend me regarding a battery case. Since I hadn't used Frank I decided to do some searching online. I was a bit concerned to work with him due to him not having a website. He had very limited advertising online. I found Lawyer Ratingz and it had 2 reviews that were 3 months apart that were negative so I was a little uneasy after reading them. Without having never used Frank I only could go off his word and his reviews online. Frank was professional and confident on the phone. He told me he has handled cases like mine over twenty different times and has never had a problem getting them to go away. He called me today and told me that my case had been dismissed. I agree with all the negative reviews that are being posted here about Frank and his practice. He seems only interested in getting you to give him your case and pay him, and once he has your money all he is interested in is getting your case out of his way so that he can move on to the next one. He answered none of my questions and responded to none of my attempts to contact him before my court date, and I wound up walking into the courtroom unprepared and not knowing what to expect at all. He advised me to take the first plea the prosecutor offered me and I still have not been able to get him to file the appropriate paperwork to take care of my case. I am on probation right now and I'm afraid that because of his company's complete lack of customer service that I am going to be held in contempt of court for violating my probation. I wish there were a way to rate his communication as a zero instead of a 1. I cannot stress how much you will regret giving Frank your case if you hire him.

My son was charged with a serious felony. I first hired a lawyer based on a recommendation of a friend. After six months of that attorney representing my son the state was still offering a jail sentence. I was fortunate to a clerk who worked in the courthouse. She was kind enough to recommend Mr. Gaviria. He was a great attorney eventually getting my sons charges thrown out.

Frank is a smooth talker that takes on waaaay too many clients. He was late or missed 3 court dates and seems more interested in just finishing the case once he has your money. He blows you off and won't answer your calls or call you back. He doesn't explain anything and refuses to do what you ask. He literally showed up late for court, told me the first deal he made, told me i should take the deal (without explaining anything related to what it entailed, then left and told some random attorney to handle my plea. Itold him i needed time to figure out what i wanted to do and he yelled at me!! I asked him if it was gonna be adjudication withheld and he said"that's a good question let me find out" Let me find out??? Isn't that something you should know before making a plea? He asked the prosecutor who said no and he wouldn't fight for me or figure out what we could do! He was the WORST attorney i have ever known and he just doesn't care! Avoid him at ALL COSTS!!

This attorney sweet talks to get you to give him the case. Once he is in the case, he does changes the story and does not seem ineterested for the client. He is in it only for the money, no genuine interest in working hard for you.
