Tamra works hard for her clients and knows the law. Any bad review in my opinion comes from someone who had to face her and lost.

With the experiance I had with the attorney it wasn't good. With all the recently posted ratings, was wondering if she had any involvement in the comments.

Tamra Spradlin is an incredibly effective attorney. I can thank her enough for winning equal time with my girls. Because of my ex-spouses family wealth and arrogance, her and her lawyer presupposed I was not worthy to have more than cursory visitation. Thank goodness for Tamra. She was the great equalizer, where what was best for my kids trumped client wealth. Now I have 50/50 custody and things have never been better. Thanks Tamra.

I am really surprised at the bad comments on here Tamara has been handling our case since 2012 and has done a fantastic job. Jay Mccowen also helped with our trial and had good advice/ideas. Tamara has been very professional & has been the only attorney out of 4 prior ones that could even get the other side to somewhat cooperate. We got sole custody, mom got slightly less than standard visitation, we are very pleased. it was a long and expensive road to get here, but we made it. I will say Tamara's office could probably use another assistant or 2 because one up there in particular is not very friendly and often makes you feel you are bothering her, so either she is always really busy and hates being interrupted or she is just an unfriendly person. Communication at times could be a little frustrating, but I also realize I am not her only client. I wish I had seen this site before I retained this firm. I fired this firm after 8 months and $5,000' worth of charges. They produced one document in all that time. Opposing counsel served me with a motion to compel because this attorney never sent ANYTHING to opposing counsel in all that time. A horrible and expensive lesson on a case where speed is critical for my children's sake, and they did nothing. I have had to start all over with another attorney and looks like I will fork over another $5k just to fix it all.
They are very slick and deceptive. You have been warned.
Just say no.

I am completely appalled at the negative comments on this site about Tamra and I believe they are suspicious and false. I am a real, live client of Tamra that has been in a lengthy divorce and custody battle for over seven years. I was awarded 50/50 visitation when I previously had 40/60. It is sad that the low ratings have to be given. But in light that according to records this attorney has not been active in any legal representation for almost a year now. Makes you wonder why. It may be in your best interest to seek legal representation else where.

I'm not surprised by the all the bad comments. She shouldn't be practicing family law. I can't imagine how many other families had to suffer because of her lack of professionalism and total lack of concern. Hiring a lawyer is the best thing to do for your family but certainly not this one. She will waste your time and money. If you are using her already then be prepared for a lengthy battle.

I had high hopes to get a favorable outcome in my fight for my rights to visitation with my daughter. Not only was I disappointed, my rights to visitation was suspended by the judge without even a murmur of objection from my attorney. Tamara Spradlin and the firm she represents were to charge my ex-wife with contempt of court but decided against it evidently. I was passed off the other attornies from the firm and was charged prep time for them to get up to speed on my case and then to top it all off they made agreements with opposing counsel to have judge settle the journal record without even notifying me for my input. Throughout the entire time I thought they represented me I would call hundreds of times to talk with attorney only to be told they are in court or out of office and would never get a call back. I went to court and found I had no representation and found out through the judge they already made a deal. They even threatened me with a contract that was never signed by me.

I must agree with most of the other post, very high priced and not satisfied with the quality of the work done. You must decide for yourself, but I cannot recommend this attorney.

In my opinion these lawyers (Ms. Spradlin and Jay McCown) advocate divorce so that they can capitalize on the custody battles between parents. I would suggest that this Firm not be recommended or used.

She looks like very reliable and proficient attorney during first appointment. So I chose the FATHER'S PARENTAL RIGHTS LAW CENTER where Tamra start working on my case. A month later they didn't do anything. Very poor communication, never answer e-mails. They weren’t able to establish child visitation schedule. I almost lost my case by default... I don't know what these guys are doing but if you are going to work with them you definitely will lose time and money for nothing. I changed attorney and Tamra didn't contact me to figure out what happened and she didn't return me retainer fee. Another attorney did all job for a THREE days! RUN from the FATHER'S PARENTAL RIGHTS LAW CENTER. RUN!!!

I hired this firm to represent me in establishing child support and visitation. I was quoted two prices one for a trial and one for a settlement. I never recieved anything written as far as hourly rates. I thought I was paying a flat rate. She continues to bill and nothing has been filed and finalized. Extremely poor communication and absolutly no follow through. She sent me a nasty letter saying I had a balance. I have paid over 3000 dollars and have never even been to court. Do not waste your money on this firm

I hired Tamra and her team after much research for a lawyer or firm that strongly represented fathers rights. All I can say is that I was terribly WRONG in my choice of Tamra and the lawyers at Fathers Parental Rights. I've never felt less important to anyone, my phone calls were seldom ever returned, and the day of my hearing I was represented by another attorney whom knew NOTHING of my case and worse yet I got charged for having to fill her in. I would strongly encourage anyone to stay away from this firm. I've even since found out that my temporary order wasn't even done properly. Prior to receiving my retainer I felt great and confident in my choice but the minute my payment was processed the customer service and care went out the door. They had one single member of their team that was great, unfortunately he was an intern preparing for the bar. Choose for yourself but I personally have never had worse service even at a third rate restaurant.
