This guy is a first class Donald Trump. I used him once and will never use him again. I had simple questions, he was rude and told me 'do you know how many years I've been doing this? like it was a fight, however I had questions, and I was spending my money with him. I felt like a child, and that he was the angry parent in the situation. He was also talking to his colleagues in a highly flustered and degrading manner, they should take him to court for mistreatment. You could tell that his staff were unhappy one looked like she was almost in tears from his rude manner and harsh words. Honestly, do not bother with this lawyer, first and foremost people wish to deal with somebody level headed and decent, which Ken is clearly not. I felt abused by the time I was done with him, but kept my mouth closed as I wanted a simple transaction, and an easy life. Thinking back, I should have probably told him that I was disgusted with the service but I did not want to have issues with my property.

I had a horrible experience with Rhodes. TV and movies give lawyers a bad rep of being greedy, and Mr Rhodes proved it to be true. My bill was outrageous and included services I didnt even approve-would not recommend. Go to a bigger town and get a real lawyer, its worth the drive.

Pompous and talks in circles. Will schedule numerous appointments to go over same things and then is constantly watching his watch. Forgets what you tell him because he doesn't want to hear what your saying he has an idea from onset and doesn't listen to details. Sticks his chest out like he is the greatest but just there to bleed you dry while he parks his $150 000 car right in front of his window. Would have saved lots of money by going elsewhere and had to switch part way through because of his ineptitude and his staff not giving me key papers. Avoid this man.

I have used Ken as my lawyer on two separate occasions and would use him again. The first time was during a very nasty break up. His expertise protected me completely from a situation where I could have been taken advantage of financially by an unscrupulous man trying to take advantage of me as a widow. He is very professional and does a wonderful job at a reasonable cost. If I ever had to go to court for any reason at all, he would be the man I would want representing me - he is knowledgeable, thorough and very tenacious - all the things you would want and need. He explained the technical "lawyereze" language in layman's terms so his communications skills are good. I am pleased to say I have now met a wonderful man. We did everything correctly this time - co-habitation agreement (for my benefit - my partner's insistence), real estate transaction and wills. To sum it up, Ken has worked as a highly respected lawyer in Chatham for many years for good reason. I trust him completely.

Ken Rhodes is a great lawyer and I am extremely happy I went with him. He is very knowledgeable and thourough by discussing the relevance of covering every detail and the importance of gathering the essential documents. He and his team are great to work with and prepare to win just as we did. He uses all necessary resources in order to obtain the most positive results and will tell you straight up what the reality of your case is. Remember,you have to be willing to do what's required by you and actually have a reasonable case otherwise you will be switching lawyers every couple months and leaving poor feedback on every lawyers profile. You are hiring him to be your lawyer,not your friend and if you are in business, Ken is the lawyer you want. He understands our challenges,has great comprehension of finacial statements unlike alot of lawyers so his experience as a professional shines thru especially in this area. He's chosen by many high profile clients in the area for good reason.

First and foremost, most people never praise someone for a job well done but are quick to jump on a job that doesn't go their way. Shame on you. Ken came highly recommended from a friend who has a very large stake in the local farming industry. With Ken's legal counsel, I am involved in a tenacious custody battle with the top legal firm in London. Ken is professional. He is honest which bothers some people because sometimes the truth hurts....he will tell you truth. If you need to be hugged and coddled I suggest you move on. Ken is a pitbull and has dug in for me to do battle with an entire team of lawyers and my ex. His work is thorough and precise. His assitant Karen is top notch as are the others in his office. With nearly 40 years of experience he has earned my trust and respect. Because of his work I'm a single dad with custody of his little one...how many other dads can say that? :)

Wish I would have read the other reviews before deciding to use Mr. Rhodes. He is extremely unprofessional and his communication skills are horrible, even for an attorney. He completely mishandled our case and failed to notify us of court dates on more than one occasion. He made many mistakes and tried to blame them on us. We are now searching for a new attorney to handle the remainder of our case, even though Mr. Rhodes was currently working for us at NO CHARGE in order to correct his past mistakes. Even his free services are a poor value.
