Was not impressed with David Frechette. He seemed knowledgeable and helpful at first, and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. However never did anymore then phone calls and emails. Nothing filed at the courts or anything served to my ex, which made my situation worse.I Wasted a lot of money for nothing. Seek legal counsel elsewhere for someone that has your best interest at hand.

Mr. Frechette helped me tremendously with a family protection order in Supreme Court. He made himself available so quickly and led me to get a full Supreme Court Order as I and my son had needed. His advice was prompt and precise. I am very grateful for his expertise which led to full success in an emergency Supreme Court Hearing.

I was very happy with the work David and his assistant did on my personal injury case. David was knowledgeable and understanding. He took care of all the details and relieved me of the stress of dealing with ICBC. He got an excellent settlement for my claim. I would recommend him to anyone needing a lawyer.

Dealing with my family matter David was a great help during a difficult time. I was very happy with the attention he gave to my file and to my concerns. I was kept up to date on my file and he always returned my phone calls and emails promptly. He is straight forward and his letters to opposing lawyers are to the point. I would highly recommend him.

Without prejudice..(!) He was a huge disappointment continually making devastating mistakes, taking no responsibility. I found him rude, and argumentative. He got caught up in his ego, not the case. The judge addressed his behavior in court. I consulted with his colleague. He agreed his behavior was foreign, (but was forced to support him). After waiting close to two grueling years to appear in court, and approximately three days before, he informed me " I'm not doing this anymore, you have to settle" leaving me speachless! His concern was me signing asap in order to let the judge know it was not necessary to come from Vancouver. I had about 4 hrs!! He wrote ONE draft and left the rest of the work to me. He was not knowledgeable nor supportive in finalizing the case. I got screwed. My experience with him was traumatic. Look out!! Hope this helps to make an informed choice.

I agree his hourly rate is high but he does not wast time. He is very efficient and does not feed you false hope to keep u tied up in court.

Expensive but quick and efficient... like a silent deadly snake and gets you what you want. You've got your top goal and minimum goal and he will get you to the top goal! He even takes our financial situations in consideration and provides outside resources to cut down lawyer costs. The kind of guy you want to bring coffee for early morning meetings and take out to golf games.
