It was a long time ago that I retained Nikky for my divorce and I thought she was efficient and fair. I would give her a three out of five. However, then I thought I would get my affairs in order and make a Will and was presented with the idea of a P.O.A. She and my mother blindsided me and actually tricked me into putting the P.O.A. into place asap! I really had no idea that she intended to put the P.O.A. into place and thought it was for the future if needbe. There was absolutely no need for it at all. Since this time, I have had serious health issues such a bone tumor and hip replacement at 38 years old that ended my dental hygiene career and two years later a doctor refused to fill out the requalifying paper work for my private disability insurance and it stopped paying out despite that CPPD continued to pay. The reduced income forced me to have to sell my home after I had to cash in all my RRSPs and I went homeless while having Nikki as my P.O.A!

Nicola Reid and her company are first rate. She is meticulous to detail and accuracy on your file. If you need to litigate, she is a seasoned professional in the Courts. My file was highly contentious and unpleasant, (to say the least), and she perservered to the end and kept a reasonable perspective throughout. Nicky has a child-centred approach to custody matters. I was pleased overall with her services, and found her to be a pleasure to work with.

Nicky Reid is a brilliant and caring lawyer. She was an unremitting advocate for my children and was determined that a fair settlement be reached so my children and I would be okay. I especially appreciate her integrity and reasoned approach to negotiations; Nicky was fastidious in making sure all presented facts were accurate and proposals were sensible. Nicky is willing to go above and beyond to help her clients. When I was determined to reach a mediated settlement out of court, she worked hard to make that happen. Then, when I was unexpectedly taken to court a year later, she graciously took on my file, despite a full caseload, working tirelessly through her weekends to prepare. In the courtroom she is a formidable and talented force. She was so well prepared, articulate and effective in the presentation of my case that she quickly won on all counts, including costs from the opposition. I am also grateful to Nicky's helpful, compassionate staff. Thank you everyone.

I am so thankful for Nicky Reid. I would have not had the outcome had it not been for her. She listened and really understood my situation and fought hard for my children and I. Thanks to her, we ended up with a parenting plan that fits the children. She has the most amazing memory and could recall every detail when needed during court. Had it not been for her hard work, we would never have finalized a separation agreement.

The only reason my child and I were able to come out the other side of a very contentious child custody conflict was because of Nicky Reid. She listened to my concerns with care and attention, which allowed her to clearly advocate for my child. Nicky's commitment to my family was constant and undeniable. She was professional and always over prepared for court appearances or other meetings with the other party. My situation was very long and difficult but her motivation and work ethic for me did not waiver. She helped me laugh through the difficult times as well and be straight with me when needed. I will always be indebted to her for all that she has done for my daughter and me. We would not have the outcome that was needed for my daughter without her.

Nicky is the most professional, competent, and caring lawyer I have ever come across. Her work is meticulous, her dedication to your case no matter how busy her schedule admirable. She is a rare find in a lawyer. She keeps you confident and calm no matter the situation. Her quality of work never falters and is consistent no matter the length of your case. My case was highly contested and I could not imagine having anyone else better suited to stand and argue my case for me; without her I doubt my case would have had as positive an outcome. Thanks to her I can rest easy at night knowing that my child will be safe and protected. Her entire staff is likewise caring and competent. I would recommend her to any one who needs a family lawyer.

Wow, that is all I can say, without Mrs Reid, I would have been homeless. She cares about you and ensures that your needs are met while you wait for a settlement. I don't know where I would have been now without her. My kids and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
