Horrible. Operates at a slug's pace. Purposely drags things out. Does not respond to phone calls or emails. Purposely dragged out the divorce for 5 years (yes FIVE). I do not recommend.

Kept revising things when they weren't needed. Racist - made weird jokes about race. Really slow at responding and moving things along. Purposely drags out the divorce so that the bill runs high for no reason. Complicates simple matters. Would not recommend for family law. Avoid at all costs.

Worst lawyer imaginable. Strings clients along to increase his bill. Dishonest. If you want to be destroyed and financially ruined, retain this lawyer. Did absolutely no work on my case, but kept calling me in so he could charge me. Friends had similar bad experiences - he dragged out their divorce for years to keep charging them.

Mr.Kamin was my original lawyer for the separation agreement. It took a very long time (years)to resolve because of the ex. unwillingness to compromise or agree. In the end he got me a good settlement. His price was fair and he didn't gouge for every little thing. He is very busy, hence the reason I had to find a different lawyer, but I would use him again in a heartbeat. Moral, smart, has integrity and not out for the almighty dollar like so many others in Kingston. His assistant Marlene was always quick to respond to questions because Mr. Kamin isn't quick to return calls or messages. (maybe that keeps the costs down?) I would recommend Lanny to a friend or family member.

Very knowledgeable, moral, ehthical and trustworthy. He's very busy and didn't always respond quickly but his assistant Marlene was very quick to return calls and answer questions. The process took a long time but Mr Kamin was more than fair with his fees. Easy to talk to. I would recommend for family law issues.

He try to remain civil and correct with other counsel, but that just add cost when the other party is not interested in finding solution. That create extra cost and no possibility of resolution until a lot of money as been spent.

Our family used Mr. Kamen for a house purchase/sale and found him to be totaly knowledgeable , on top of all issues as they pertain to liens, property checks,management of payments,etc,. Easy and fair to deal with. We would deal with him again in the future.This is one savey lawyer who gets the job done for a reasonable price.
