ICBC is a multi-billion dollar organization with trained adjusters who’s agenda is to either try to settle cases immediately for a lesser value than what injuries and damages should be or they will draw the process out for as long as possible in an effort to force the injured party to settle for a lesser amount than what they may attain through court and continued litigation. Without an experienced lawyer with a reputation of being willing to take ICBC through the trial process than ICBC simply will not settle for damages anywhere near what the courts may award where ICBC is forced to pay a fair value for damages. You need an experienced lawyer with trial experience and a reputation for going to bat for their clients to navigate through this process or ICBC will take advantage of you. I found myself fortunate to have chosen Rick Johnston and his associates at Johnston, Franklin, Bishop for they had both the experience and reputation required to bring ICBC to a reasonable award for dama

Overall there is nothing bad i can say about rick. His knowledge of the law and of field of work are a cut above the rest. He is an excellent communicator and always responds to emails within a few hours, something which many people have trouble doing. Rick's tenacity level as a lawyer is also commendable. He fought for the exact number that i had requested from settlement talks and even ended up getting me a little more than expected. Overall the experience i had with rick was great. He took the time to get to know me as a person and i truly felt he wanted to do what was in my best interest. Without a doubt, an excellent lawyer and a genuinely great person.

I found Richard to be extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of Personal Injury Law. Richard has many years of experience, and a wealth of knowledge in Personal Injury cases. He also has many contacts with the most top and highly sought out individuals that work with people that have been in accidents and because of this he was able to arrange many appointments for me that played an integral part in my recovery. I feel that Richard is sincere and looks out for my best interest. To the best lawyer in the world. I hired Rick Johnston to act for me regarding a serious motor vehicle accident where I sustained a head injury and numerous other injuries. Mr. Johnston and the whole staff of Johnston Franklin helped me through this hard time and got me more than I expected at the end.

Dealt with him for an ICBC injury claim. ICBC offered me peanuts after a car crash, and i almost took it, but I decided to open the phone book. Glad I came across him! I still have not gotten back to work as a result of my injuries and if I took ICBC's offer I would be regretting it now. He got me a very favourable settlement and was extremely knowledgable, patient and explained things in ways that I could understand. I've dealt with lots of lawyers in my life, good and bad. This one is highly recommended.
