I strongly recommend Stephen Ashkenazy. Used him for over 8 years for both family and commercial matters. Very fair in billing, never overcharges. Vast range of knowledge and he is honest enough to tell you if a case is beyond him.

I don't know where that 1st poster got their information from but that is NOT the Stephen Ashkenazy I know. And YES I have known him and hired him for over 20 YEARS. I have respresented a large Multinational Corporation for over 25 years and hired Stephen exclusively for various and numerous Corporate issues in Quebec during that period. Stephen's work, legal knowledge; stragtegic planning and ethics were always first class and the best I’ve seen of the dozens of lawyers I hired across the country during that period. He also charges very reasonable rates given the excellent product that was always delivered. He was especially good at assessing any difficult situation and providing a practical and efficient path forward. Couldn't recommend him higher. BC
