I wonder how many people skip out on his last invoice? He made so many mistakes in my brothers case, he's not even going after him for balance due...true story. His assistant was the one he would blame for his errors documents and late submissions. He is demeaning, arrogant, and lazy, it's his job to make sure his work is done right not his assistants. Check how many assistants he has gone through, that will give you an idea about his lack of professionalism. Don't use Geoffrey Wells, you will be disappointed.

I dont understand how people can get so far ahead in life when they take ZERO pride in their work. If you want a bloated windbag that will charge you premium prices for absolutely thoughtless service, this is your guy. If you want a decent lawyer who will think about your matter, read the material and give you sensible advice, stay away from this lawyer and this law firm that seems to have a culture of poor service, poor outcomes and high billing rates. Its all sizzle and no steak here. I wont get into the details because I dont want to identify my case but two months into taking me on as a client and he has no clue what its about, no communication about strategy or plan, shockingly little to speak of all around. I'm just amazed that he still has a career...his work is appalling.

Very superficial work. He doesn't review the history, accepts info without evidence, and repeatedly fails to communicate. Don't waste your money here.

Hire him. After spending 2 years fighting a divorce and getting nothing, Geoffrey got the job done. Finally got support, (still lost the house), and walked away with an ok settlement. He was upfront about what could be achieved and after 4 years finally got value for money.

Quite simply, horrible. Combative, abrasive and looks for ways to drag on his cases to make more money for himself. Don't just walk away, run. To prove his lack of ethics, you only need to look at these reviews. He only has 8 positive reviews of which 5 were submitted within a few days. Clearly, he posted those positive reviews himself. He's a disgrace.

he tried to take me to small claims court after 3 years. . made up some story that i did not pay his bill. luckily it got dismissed. and i got cost. stay away from this clown , unless you want to waste your hard earned money on a incompetent lawyer

Geoffrey is an exceptional family lawyer. He is able to untangle and resolve difficult cases involving business valuations and self employment income. He will give professional advice on many aspects of the separation and divorce including parenting plans and child custody assessments, property equalisation,income reports and many more.I am very happy to have retained him for my case. His bills are extremely reasonable and I am sure that Geoffrey actually spends more time working on my case than he is invoicing. Some people here mentioned phone calls not being returned. I have never experienced that and please remember that you are hiring legal help and not a therapist. Geoffrey will always call you when there is anything that needs to be discussed case related. He is very reasonable, fair and a good person overall so if you are someone trying to rip off another party or lie in the litigation he would not be a good choice. He has great credibility in courtroom and it's very important.

Empathetic, honest, and very knowledgeable are words I would use to describe Geoff. I was with a terrible lawyer prior to moving my file to Geoff and the experience working with Geoff was night and day. Geoff took the time to listen to me and really took the time to understand my file. He offered excellent suggestions and we were able to settle with my ex-husband without costly court dates. I would highly recommend him.

one of the worst lawyers ever, has no humanity. He is just full of greed and does not care for you or your case. Just wants your money. I wish I had never gone to him for my case. He lied to me right from the start about what it is going to cost and took all that money before even starting to really work on my case. He has many tricks to take your money and do nothing for you.

I have been through two trials and an appeal with Geoffrey and I can honestly tell you that there is no one else you would want on your side to navigate complex financial issues against an extremely difficult spouse. Terrible experience. Wasted my time and my money. Not honest. Surprises me with legal facts in my disadvantage after two year! Can't even memorize, or make the effort to show that he knows, the names/ages of my children. I don't recommend.

Geoff is a great guy, and a decent person in general. He is an advocate for finishing things quickly and cleanly and despite having to deal with an opposing council, who is reaming my former partner and making work for himself, I have been able to keep my head above the water thanks to Geoff.

Often is NOT aware of current happenings! Does NOT follow up with reply/response correspondence to opposing counsel. VERY argumentative and NOT truthful to client. Cannot understand/see the entire picture of case. Does NOT listen/understand the client. ALWAYS challenging and demeaning to the client. Your money will be totally wasted!!!
