I would have done better being my own attorney as she did ABSOLUTELY nothing for me or my case and my former lawyer who had won my case 23 times was retiring and suggested Jane. What a bad suggestion - First time I ever lost to my ex

This woman completely messed up a relatively simple purchase of land. She literally filed with Rock County that we purchased my neighbor’s entire property, when in fact we had purchased a tiny parcel of land from our neighbor. 5 years later, I just found out it has never been filed accurately; we still do not own the land or have any title insurance for it. She got her money in 2016! I am still fighting to correct her incompetence! Never hire her! She will lie to you and tell you everything has been corrected. She is not someone you need, unless you want to be overcharged, underserved, and completely aggravated!

I have been in the real estate business for over 25 years and I can say that I had the worst experience in my career with a closing with Jane Randall. Communication from her office was unacceptable. My clients were in the office for over 7 hours and the property finally closed the next day. She blamed the lender which was not the problem at all. I will never user Jane Randall again to close on any type of real estate or for any other services. There are many other choices and I highly recommend that you find a professional who will do their job and make the closing experience a positive one.

My experience with Jane was horrible; she will intentionally drag her feet so she can charge you more money. It took five months for her to get us a court date for a temporary custody hearing! She will not return your email and your case will take forever. You pay for great service but you will be treated like you and your family do no matter. Please do not make the same mistake that I did, Your family deserves a lawyer that has time for her clients and JANE does not. I am filing a complaint with the Bar against her, don't be her next victim.

Luckily, my divorce turned out well but not through any doing from Ms. Randall. Documents and emails were lost, my calls (which were few due to her fees) were ignored. She never contacted me until she needed something right then, and it was always something I had provided already. During mediation it was clear she had not reviewed my file-which she had for a year. She overlooked additional property my ex owned and I had to point this out. My ex's lawyer was pointing out what a poor job she did! She is extremely slow and your divorce will take longer. This is a tough time for you. Don't make it tougher with a poor lawyer. I am not bitter, all of this is water under the bridge for me now. Take this as friendly advice: don't choose Jane Randall as your attorney.

Not prompt in responses. My retainer was taken nearly 3 months ago and nothing has been done other than 1 meeting with a paralegal explaining to them what discover papers were requesting. Will not ever use this attorney again nor will I refer anyone to her.

Jane not only got me the best possible deal in terms of child support and custody, not having to pay alimony, and division of property, but she successfully prevented my wife from getting an order of protection against me for a bogus domestic violence case. I've seen some negative reviews, but people need to understand that a lawyer can only work within the limits of the system and can not get you impossible deals. No, Jane is not going to sit around lighting scented candles with you and talking about your feelings. She's not a therapist -- she's a lawyer. No, she's not cheap, but getting plowed under in a divorce will cost you way more and the pain will last a lot longer. Want a friend? Buy a dog. Want to win at divorce? Hire Jane.

After retaining Jane I waited 5 months for her to serve papers to an abusive ex over custody. I have spent 80% of my retainer on emails and phone calls from me asking what the status of my case is. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I would not recommend this attorney at all. She is a money hungry ruthless attorney. I have never had to deal with such a mean and disrespectful person. She talks to people like they are trash and don't exist. I would highly recommend finding another attorney over her. she wants to control everything and not let you speak about anything. She wants everything her way and its not her children that are involved. if her children were involved she would feel the same way. I got nothing I wanted except a divorce and had to nerve to ask me to retain her when I wanted to speak with her about the case after it was over and charged me another consult fee to speak with her on the same matter of someone not following direction. I never received a final bill to show where all the money went that I paid. She is way overpriced for the work I had performed. I could have represented my self and got a better outcome. She wanted to do a agreement for me to sign off on instead of fighting.

I found that her knowledge of the law was excellent and that she really was looking out for my best interest. She is tough, but I learned that she was doing what was best for me. I thought her fees were worth the outcome I received.

Please adhere to all these reviews and find another attorney!! I could almost copy and paste the comments from other reviews. Lazy and condescending and definitely all about the money!! If I had gotten representation and answers would have been worth the thousands I paid her....needs to hang it up in the divorce/mediation arena! Would not recommend her at all!!!!

Definitely find someone else! Run! She took my money and gave me NOTHING! Everything I ask for she didnt give me. I got my divorce but everything I wanted she told me I was asking for too much. I asked that he pay child support thru the court on the first of the month. She approved it for him to pay me on the 15th. Of course I'm having problems with that and now paying another attorney. She said he didn't have the money and I can obtain her again to get it thru the courts. NEVER!

Leave town and find a more experienced lawyer. Not worth the time. Her paralegal is pushy as well. Since SC frowns on non attorneys practicing law without a license I am surprised that Ms. Randall allows her paralegal so much leeway.

My experience: Initially, Jane was effective and got things done. However, over the time of several months, Jane’s effectiveness began to decline. It seemed to becoming more and more obvious that her interest was in it less and less. (All rote and lacking empathy). There was a window of opportunity when her help might have made a huge difference, but she wasted the opportunity. Currently, I am alienated from my children, which could have bee prevented. She seemed to be much more concerned about money rather than helping me. Perhaps, she should consider practicing real estate law and leave family law alone. I hope that I will be the last client who has an experience like this one, but that is entirely up to Jane! Jane came highly recommended. But, in my opinion, based upon my own experience as I have described, I think that she is over-rated.
