Jeff is so proud of wrongfully convicting his clients he has "Crime Pays" on his license plate. Jeff is well known for requesting more time then what the judge asks for. Jeff is known to actively hide discovery evidence he is required to provide by law. Jeff is the perfect example of "Inadequate council." Filing a Bar Complaint against Jeff is the only way he will ever stop his blatant misconduct. Jeff has made a career from wrongfully convicting his clients. He should be in prison for these crimes.

Jeff works directly with the DA's office to convict men. He has been doing this for years. His friend carletta bassano refused to prosecute Jill ihle when she was DUI and hit & killed arther Smith. She refused to prosecute because Jill was Jeff's paralegal and a close friend. Both carletta bassano and Jeff toothaker need to be prosecuted for covering up a DUI manslauter. Not to mention a direct conflict of interest. Unworthy of a attorney, needs to be disbarred and in prison describes Jeff accurately.

In Hancock County one needs a federal attorney, as the Judges don't necessarily appreciate the law as written, particularly when it comes to civil rights. He's not your guy if you are innocent because he likes backdoor dealing too much. No sense of fiduciary duty.
Jeff was retained to enforce payment for damages and spousal support. Never filed a breach of contract claim or even a notice of claim over the course of three years. Bankrupted me, my business, lost my house and so forth because of this over-educated wet-brain idiot. Starting over at 50 because of his gross negligence mean he should be disbarred; and because he covered it up, shot.
When a contract is written at least as well as a Law Court Opinion, and they don't grasp it but pretend to, it says a whole lot about who the person is: An idiot or a back door dealer who used your case to win others.

He will not answer your phone call, will not call you back, and certainly will not keep you posted on the situation...simply because he has no idea what is actually going on! Country lawyering at its best. Don't worry and don't bother hassling him with appointments, phone calls and letters. Just wait until a Hancock County jury is seated. They won't care about the case. They just know it's Toothaker, their friend, and they'll make sure he doesn't lose because they're his friends or friends with his father or his brother or they knew his grandfather. You might get hung jury once in while, but he can't actually lose a criminal case or an auto accident.

He is an amazing lawyer for his ability to get the job done, and his price for the job, it does not cost that much to get him where as other lawyers it costs three times that, I would choose this lawyer over all others because he is a nice and smart man.

This lawyer is not uppity like most other lawyers. He's actually kind of crude, but refreshing in his own way, like a bottle of champagne with a twist-off cap. Anyway, he gets the job done which is more than I can say for most lawyers, which is why I only gave him a 4 for value, because who wants to spend money on a lawyer?

Jeff Toothaker was my public defender when I accidentally killed two members of my family back in 2004 after a small spat. Mr. Toothaker got me off on a technicality so I did not have to do any time. He has a good eye for loopholes! I will sure use him again the next time I am arrested.

This attorney tried to be my mom's attorney when she was selling land to Jeff's friend Wayne Wright. He told me she didn't need her own attorney it would just cost her a lot of money. They could both use him. She luckily got her own attorney because he tried to sue on behalf of his friend. They stated that the land wasn't soil testable. They wanted the money and keep the land. She won the case. Just to have him come back a few years later with another client and bought all the land surrounding her house and put a junk yard in an R2 zone. The junk yard surrounds her property. He has told things that were untrue to the city council to push the junk yard through. I feel this attorney should not be allowed to practice law. In this case he has tried to take advantage of an elderly person for financial gain of his clients.

Jeff Toothaker represented me in a criminal case. His first priority is to get your money and his second and third are the same. I didn't feel like I was even being offered a service. I thought at some point he would start working my case and it never happened. I would have done better throwing my money into a camp fire. He doesn't return phone calls, doesn't prepare for your case, and appears to be in the back scratching business with the DA. He will leave you in the dark until the pressure is on and then leave it up to you to decide what to do while providing very little, if any, guidance. Everyone needs to make a living. He makes his by offering a service. The only thing is the service doesn't even come close to the money he requires. A retarded, deaf, monkey would have served me better.
