I interviewed 5 attorneys of all caliber before settling on Joseph Shaw for my divorce. He agreed to represent me with my many conditions I had requested. He billed on a 6 minute minimum for phone calls and emails which was very fair. He also provided very accurate and detailed monthly or bi monthly statements depending on our correspondence. He returned every phone call I ever made and would answer his phone at 8 pm. I would call him on weekends and he would get right back. When we went to court yes he did talk to other clients but that meant he wasn't billing me solely for all his time while waiting for my case the cost was shared with the other clients.The opposition had a very strong attorney that loved to fight, burn dollars and be dramatic. Once the showdown in court started the gloves came off. The very easy going and detailed person I had worked closely with became the hammer I had requested. He hit back hard when the rubber met the road. Joseph was stellar in my case.

Total Lack of knowledge, NO Communication Skills; Will take your MONEY AND RUN !! Don't fall for this, BEWARE ! He Will leave you high and Dry in court !

I used Joseph Shaw to handle my divorce and a DUI. He and his office staff were professional, friendly and always concerned about me. He was usually accessible and always quick to return calls if he was out or busy when I called. He always kept me informed about what was going on in my cases and I knew what to expect when I went to court. He is very busy (as all great lawyers are) but he does an excellent job and I have no reservations in recommending him to my family, friends and everyone else who needs a lawyer.

Doess nothing to explain things. And does not stand behind you. HE EVEN FORGOT I WAS IN THE COURT AFTER WE HAD BEEN THE 20 MINUTES BECAUSE HE WAS SO BUSY TALKING WITH OTHER ATTORNIES ABOUT OTHER CASES HE HAS.
