The administrative law judge stopped the lawyer during the very first question he asked me and received a warning for his questing manner and threatened to throw my case out! They were handed my case at the final stage of appeals and couldn't do anything EXCEPT, of course, take 25% of the money i got awarded to myself. My advice, look elsewhere or you will be gravely disappointed. Even the Judge disliked dealing with them, thats never a good thing! You need a team that is perceived as at least NEUTRAL. When I mentioned that they were stopped by the judge from being involved after their first failed question attempt, I said i felt alone handling my appeal and that 25% for minimal assistance is too much to be charged in return. I was told "well we have a signature on file from you agreeing to pay us". I am thoroughly disappointed how everything was handled (or NOT handled) in my case. Unfortunately $9,000+ went into the bank account of people who nearly blew my chance.

Im 100% service connected w/ VA. I have been working with this law firm on a SSDI case for approximately 3 years. DO NOT HIRE should be down right illegal practice. They rarely contact you most times it's by mail as opposed to email or phone call. They require you to do all the leg work on your case such as getting documents. Each time I had to request my own medical records. The only time they contact you is to take control and get authorization on your case. Once they have done that they call for about 30 mins after that you don't hear from them until the day of the hearing, or before. If you are denied they never call you to discuss why, just sends a letter to say they are appealing. The lawyer was unfamiliar with my case and was not prepared for my hearing. Now, It is actually the day of my hearing and I have not heard from anyone, so I am on hold. They say he is having computer problems. THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE TO CONTACT YOUR CLIENTS!!!

After he was paid up front he lied trying to get more money out of me. Refused to send me court papers stating the case was over.

I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable about my disability case. His demeanor also put me at ease during a stressful time. I would highly recommend him again and again

has limited knowledge!Mitzner is the worst attorney in oklahoma! Its true his fees are very high and thats all he cares about anyway. God forbid- you disagree with this man,he will call you every name in the book,even while you are his client.I found him to be unresponsive and had very limited knowledge on how to help me with the case he took on. He is just unprofessional!
