I hired this lawyer for a divorce, he said one thing and did another. Took my 10,000 retainer and 4 days before the first court date told me he needed another 10,000, Then I receive a letter from him saying he was not going to court with me that the other attorney would be going. Spent 17,000 of 20,000 in less than 4 months and did not get me any resolution of any kind and never went to court with me. You wonder how on earth this could happen? This man didn't do one thing for me except take my money. I paid this man good faith money cash up front and he simply presented me with a monthly invoice deducting from the money he held. Is this legal, can you really treat a person like this? I was new to the court system and did not know what to expect but I did put my faith in this lawyer and his firm and I was totally taken advantage of.

Better have a large bank account. He will ask for some then mid process ask for more. He will clean you out
