In my opinion, Kevin Gassaway is the absolute definition of a horrible lawyer. Huge lack of communication and a billing nightmare. I have filed a complaint with the state bar association. Steer clear of him and his law firm.

He was always on vacation and hard to reach. He moves very slowly on emergency situations.

Mr. Gassaway was professional at all levels of the divorce proceeding. My ex husband and I wanted a fair and reasonable outcome and as little drama as possible. He fully advised me as to my best interests and his staff was knowledgeable and supportive.

Mr. Gassaway takes the path of least resistance. When all my children told him they were scared of there father and my oldest even admitted that she had been touched inappropriately he continued to force them to see this monster. He did a halfway job on his report and worded his report so that my ex thinks he was recommending joint custody and now I'll have to pay for an attorney through trial. He said that I was trying to distance them from their father. In reality I spent a life walking on eggshells taking care of my babies while their father slept around and ignored them. Now I'm the bad guy because I listen to them when they say they don't want to see him. I do not recommend Kevin Gassaway.

I strongly disagree with the other two ratings listed. Our blended family as a whole has different views and find it difficult because of a trust factor to come together. As we were being kept from our ROFR Kevin himself understood the law and was 100% fair in handing this matter! And many other matters were also resolved in one gathering.He cares enough to listen to both sides and make recommendations to the court in a just manner. The other side objected to his recommendations and filed accordingly, we showed our response to their objection. And the Honorable Judge agreed with Mr. Gassaway recommendations. I would highly recommend,if you long for peace within our family for the beautiful children you share, to call upon this peacemaker and respected man to help with your family difficulties. We truly thank God for you Mr. Gassaway!

Had Gassaway Lawfirm represent me in my case. Was more focused on running up my bill than representing me. They prolonged every situation to maximize their income instead of focusing on what was in my best interest. He sounds very knowledgable when you talk with him but in the end it does not matter how much knowledge they have if they will not represent you with it. I strongly recommend staying away from this firm unless you have a LOT of expendable money to throw away.

Had as our Parenting Coordinator for a few months. Mr. Gassaway is not strong enough to make decisions or even schedule meetings between parents. Would advise not to use.
