Moraine's law license should be revoked. He no less than stole $7500.00 from me. After I questioned him about why certain things weren't done, he told me a deposition of an opposing party's witness was required. I deposited the money into my retainer account. Two days later I discovered through the county court website that Moraine filed a motion to withdraw from my case! He then fraudulently and retroactively changed the billing history to solidify his theft.

He agreed to represent me . Messed up a very simple case. I tried contacting him multiple times not a single call back.Handed me over to another lawyer at his firm which charged me for things that never made it to court . Thousands of dollars completely waisted .

If you are reading this review, you are looking for a capable and responsible attorney. Please let me assure you that David Moraine is NOT that person. While David will post his little blurb about reviews being potentially false and misleading, I can assure you that others feel as I do. I would welcome LawyerRatingz.com to contact me verifying that my review is correct and that I indeed retained David Moraine. Knowledge? Poor... although he will lead you to believe otherwise. Communication? Virtually none. As others have said, he almost refuses to answer your calls or e-mails. Tenacity? Poor. Work quality? Don't even get me started. Value? Sub zero. On our case, once we paid him top dollar, we had difficulty reaching him. David pushed us... and others we know... to settle for less than we should have. Honestly, I'm surprised he is still in practice!

david moraine has a perfect strategy. he has not lost a case in many years. he may not return or answer phone calls for a perfect reason. he is always on the phone with another client. as i already said he has not lost a case in about 2 or 3 years. if you want to win a case pick mr.david moraine.

has his own agenda. could care less about you. calls are not returned, poor strategy, forgetful. hire someone else.

I retained Mr. Moraine as well. I, too, found him to be unresponsive to both phone calls and e-mails and to charge excessively high fees. Mr. Moraine represents as being knowledgeable in many areas; however, he is not. At one point, I actually contacted the county offices to find out how to get him off our case as the attorney of record! There are many good attorneys in Denton. Stay away from this one...
