George Johnson was hired to defend a 21 yo honor student of a charge he did not commit. Johnson had no defense & advised the student he was going to jail. His performance was unbelievably poor. He did not adequately prepared, offer a defense or a plan to try the case. He was not a strong advocate for defending this subject who had never been in trouble or arrested before. Ill advice & scare tactics were used. Very little investigation was conducted. The defendant was given 15 minutes to decide his fate. The quality work is by far the worst. He is soft spoken, easily intimidated by the solicitor & was allowed to be pushed around. Want to go to jail for a long period of time for a charge you did not commit, hire Johnson. Want an attorney to be an advocate,to defend your rights, Johnson is not that attorney. Want an attorney who is confident, Johnson is not. I would not recommend G.Johnson to anyone who needs a strong advocate to protect and defend their rights in a criminal case.
