Lance Goff took my criminal case when he is not even versed in criminal cases. As soon as I turned myself in, he surprises me and decides to withdraw from my case. Goff is a divorse attorney and not a criminal attorney! Goff should never have taken my case! Lance charged me for a consultation when it is stated on his own website that Consultations are free! Lance Goff did not tell the truth when he said we were on the phone consultation for 1 1/2 hours. My phone showed a 29 min. phone call. Lance Goff was supposed to arrange for me to turn myself in and then get released. I made sure he had it all prearranged. It did not turn out well. Instead of being quickly released, I had to spend all day in jail. Lance Goff neglected to see that they had to put a home Monitoring bracelet as a requirement. He said he missed it. You cannot miss it, it is right there with the bond terms! Lance Goff missed it because he is not trained in criminal cases & has no experience in criminal cases.

Referencing only from a witnessed event. Unfortunately, we witnessed unprovoked and unwarranted insults, condescending and defamatory statements, juvenile name calling, false allegations, and demeaning comments Mr. Goff vocalized and directed to a litigant. Not once during this dialogue did the litigant react, retaliate or speak poorly in return. Nor did the litigant initiate the dialogue. Instead, the litigant maintained a calm demeanor throughout. Professionalism in lawyering should remain uniformly standard. From this event, and in large part, a magnitude of unprofessionalism was apparrent and not fitting for an attorney or any party for that matter. In Mr. Goff's defense, he may have been grossly and purposely provided false information resulting in his escalation of uncontrollable rage leading to his direct false accusations which the court record can prove as false. Regardless, professionalism at all times is required.
