abuses the legal system. charges for work he doesn't do. keeps court going on so he can keep taking your money and time. he should read the oath he took and follow it.

CONSUMERS BEWARE!Mr. Hood didn’t prep me for trail, resulting in my Ex getting the house, kids, & the car that was paid off. I received the car w/ the $500 car payment. Mr. Hood left the courthouse before the judge decided on visitation (he told me that the other attorney left & it was rescheduled; silly me for trusting my attorney) thus leaving me w/ nothing but an outrageous bill for his counsel. I could have done much better representing myself! Additionally, many months after I completed my dealings w/ Mr. Hood & his office I received a bill for services regarding custody of my children. He claimed to have had negotiations w/ my Ex’s attorney (who was also no longer in the picture) when I had moved to Florida & the kids were already in my custody, & had been for months! Mr. Hood is scandalous, immoral & unscrupulous. Mr. Hood, you took an oath & have a legal & ethical obligation to fulfill your duties w/ honesty & integrity. JOSEPH W. HOOD JR. IS A DISGRACE TO THE PROFESSION!

This lawyer is an absolute weenie in court. Don't hire him unless you are looking to lose thousands of dollars. What a wimp! Easily scared and quieted by other lawyers. Expensive, and has a horrible paralegal.
