She was opposing on my case and handled everything horribly. I wanted to be able to get through the divorce quickly but because of her mistakes and lack of knowledge the case needlessly continued, no doubt to get more money out of my ex. The judge was extremely frustrated with her. She has no idea how to handle family law and shouldn't be allowed to practice. Do NOT hire her...

Sometimes, a client changes attorneys multiple times, represents themselves for awhile and doesn't have evidence to support his/her claims. All these things can negatively impact their case. Sometimes when a client loses they blame the attorney and file a complaint with the State Bar-with complaints such as all those contained in the poor reviews here. When the investigation clears the attorney, some clients turn to this site to write multiple negative reviews, such as the ones below. The repeated negative reviews appear to be added after a change of counsel wasn't fruitful, a positive review was posted, an unwanted decision was delivered, a debt was collected and AFTER Ms. Galloway stopped practicing in family court for a time. If the pattern holds true, another negative comment will follow this review. This attorney is knowledgably, tenacious, works extremely hard and is highly respected by her peers and clients. She is an excellent communicator and her work is thorough.

Mishandled my divorce a few years ago. She absolutely does NOT know the laws, rules, or procedures of the court. Grossly unprepared, took a chewing by the judge for it. Lied to me about delays as being the other side requesting a continuance, when it was her request (unauthorized by me)all the time for her own personal reasons -cost me thousands. did not know the requirements for financial reporting that I knew I had to follow, then mocked me for bringing them up; Never requested discovery, never submitted interrogatories to the other side, never kept me abreast of counteroffers of the other side. Absolutely did NOT return phone calls. My biggest regret is that I did not spend the time and money pursuing her debarrment for GROSS incompetence and malpractice - that is, after I fired her and finished it on my own. SHE IS RAT-HOLE INCOMPETENT, and anything positive you see on this web site is fiction of her own writing. I know more law than she does, and I'm not a lawyer (either).

she gave me really bad advice and failed to give the opposing attorney needed documents which caused problems in front of the judge. would not recommend for anything.

She wasted court time and deposition time just to pad her own wallet. She lied, lost papers, failed to file certain documents, failed to keep me informed about the case and I was told the opposing counsel was laughing at her and felt sorry for me! Now she's also selling real estate?!?!
