Complete waste of time, money. Forgot about court dates, called in sick all the time and especially on one occasion when court had already started. dropped the ball is an understatement, very defensive when I called her out …. She more was representing my ex more than she helped me….i was told she was shark Hahhaa what a joke!!!

I used Renee in my 2010 divorce. She knew the law well and what the judge considers in court. She communicated what not to waste my time or money on. I had no issues with timely communications. She even had to represent me in court because my ex wanted to go to trial and then a retrial. After the trial and retrial he got less then our original generous offer. Men should been careful of other lawyers who prey on the men, file legal papers for whatever the men want knowing the judge won't really give the man any of it and charge them lots of money. Renee was calm and we minimized my costs by not feeding into his frenzy. I referred 3 other friends and they were also satisfied. If you want a good lawyer, who knows the law, knows the legal system and you aren't a person asking for things that just are not reasonable then you will be very satisfied with Renee.

I was very impressed with Renee. She's incredibly knowledgeable. She doesn't waste time or drag things out. After meeting with her I felt more relieved that I had in months. Already referred 2 people to her and will continue to do so!

I had a wonderful experience with Renee! Renee was professional, understanding, and advocated for me throughout the divorce. I have referred personal friends and professional associates to Renee and all have been greatly satisfied with her professionalism and results, not to mention, the value and quality of her work. I believe that anyone would be hard pressed to find another attorney in Mchenry county who can compare.

An absolute disgrace to the legal system. She is a poor advocate for her clients. Unresponsive and nearly impossible to reach. Her goal is to protract the litigation and create conflict where none exists so that she can bill at her ridiculous hourly rate. Lacks any meaningful or creative advice for even fairly straightforward situations. She will bill you for time in a manner that is inconsistent with the rules of professional conduct. She is also defensive and unable to handle criticism. Beware of this attorney. Her firm, which is dissolving, has been plagued with financial difficulty for a reason. She is terrible. There are far more competent lawyers in the area and for what you will pay her, it makes mores sense to hire larger firm with the resources to complete the work timely and professionally.

If I could give all 0's I would. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. Please do not ever use her. She will do nothing but infuriate you. She will make whatever you are going through, which made you need a lawyer in the first place a million times harder to go through.

Terrible, terrible advocate for children. She thought it would be best for my kids to be with their father who was arrested for domestic battery on several times. He got residential custody but yet, they have chosen to live with me for years because they are afraid of him after he threw a bar stool at them as well as other things so he does not have to pay child support and won't even help me with their medical bills. Renee is the worst. Never hire this woman. Perment damage on my family because of her incompetence. I cannot stress this enough.

Don't be fooled by your initial consultation with this attorney. There is probably not a more unqualified, incompetant, uncaring, unstable or lazy lawyer in CL. She was hired to handle my divorce. She did not communicate, didn't know the law and took offense to questions. BEWARE, don't hire this attorney. Spread the word.

I was told reassured that she was going to be strong and assertive as this was the type of attorney I needed. She represented me in court one time, the opposing attorney rose his voice to her in court and she never showed up again, I then was stuck with her associate. Go figure. Waste of money.

one of the worst attorneys I've encountered, other than her partner. Used her as a GAL, and was billed for time not used toward our case. When confronted, she refused to discuss or refund the overage. Do not use this attorney, she is incompetent and dishonest.
