Was very happy to take the case and my money. Did not return calls, was not prepared with correct info for court. Not only was the case lost, but so was the opportunity for an appeal - he didn't do his homework. His interest is in large class action suits - not individuals. There are much better attorneys out there. Don't fall victim to his rhetoric.

Mr. Bernstein seems to know the law very well but unfortunately I couldn't benefit from that. After initial contact, he became very difficult to reach, he did not return my calls or emails, and I practically had to harass him to get a meeting. He never did contact opposing counsel, save for one faxed letter that was addressed to the wrong attorney. I have no idea what he does with his time. I felt completely blown off. After I started to complain, he had his assistant attempt to appease me with statements that I believe were outright lies. I ended up firing him because he really didn't do anything.

Paul Bernstein is one of the most knowledgeable attorneys on Tenant Landlord law in the City of Chicago, maybe even the State of Illinois. Mr. Bernstein is fair and patient he's understanding of tenant's needs is remarkable. He has a compassion for a tenant's plight. I highly recommend Attorney Bernstein.

Not only is he a bad lawyer, he is a bad person as well. He likes to use loop holes in the law to sue people and make tonne f money from innocent people. It is with lawyers like him, you begin to loose trust in the law and judicial system. He is a master at decieving people and milking money out of startight forward and honest people. His license should be suspended by the Illinois Bar Association
