This attorney is a crook, will take your money tell you what you want to hear and do nothing. especially beware if you have a case in Milford because he is personal friends with prosecutor Lawler and will try and talk you into a deal that is clearly only in the interest of the state. And please notice all the 5 star reviews are all within 4 days of each other , he probably wrote them himself or had is office staff write them to boost the poor rating he had on here. I cant wait for the day this crooked attorney is called on his BS practices.. coming soon!!

Attorney Cretella handling my federal criminal case in 2012, which didn’t end until 2014. From the start, I was impressed. It was about me and my family first, not the money. For two years , communications were never a problem either, he always got back to me within 24 hours, even after hours and weekends. Attorney Cretella possesses the knowledge of the law and the how the system works, because of this, my case proceeded smoothly through the system. Don Cretella represented me back in 2014 to 2015 for a conspiracy white collar crime. I was a realtor that had no idea what I was doing and paid my clients closing costs. I was looking st 10 to 15 years. Not only did I not get that but I only got 6 months house arrest because he proved my humanity and showed that I was just a pawn in a bigger scheme. EVERYONE received time.... but me!!! He not only got me just house arrest when EVERYONE ELSE got time but he built me up and gave me the confidence I needed to move forward. He's a family man with great morals and I would recommend him to ANYONE who needs to be represented in the Connecticut area. He's not just an attorney... he's a friend...a father ...a husband....and an advocate!!! Thank you Don!!!!

He does not return your call or even answers them He tries to encourage me to take time knowing that I was not guilty He act as if he was working for the prosecutor instead of me He needs to get out of the field of a defense criminal lawyer and go into another field of law He has helped the state of CT ruin my life

ZERO communication.. NEVER returns calls or e-mails basically leaves you hanging for years with no information on what is happening with your case.. biggest waste of money not to mention the 3 years wasted in jail waiting trial ..HORRIBLE!!!!

Don is eager to collect money-will always meet you then and tell you what you want to hear. He is never available and does NOT follow through on anything that he says. Does not answer you phone calls. He knows nothing about your case. Please do yourself a favor and keep looking for reputable attorney. Do your background checks!! He is heartless and couldn't care less about you. He is NOT passionate about his work! My loved one got maximum on every charges because didn't have time to show up to court and sent someone else who new nothing about the case.

With this rating it should be 1+. Don Cretella is nothing but a sheister, does nothing, does not return phone calls and he made our case worse as he never clarifies himself. He screwed my husband's whole case up and my husband had to spend 15 months for violation of prob because he never kept up with info for the Probation officer and he would not admit to something he never did. CRETELLA- I
wouldn't even recommend him to my worst enemy. HE SUCKS!!!!STAY AWAY FROM HIM.
