I and my fellow beneficieries hired Mr James R Burkett as the Estate attorney for my brothers will. When my I requested an accounting of the estate finances from Mr. Burkett, which he must provide upon request as per NYS Law, he ignored myrepeated requests for 3 months..I then notified him that I had no choice but to report him to the Bar Association, his response was as follows: "we have determined that an accounting is not necessary ...and any attempt to intimidate, threaten ,or bully me will be considered harassment..your communication with me will no longer be answered..signed James R. Burkett of BARTLET, PIONTIFF, STEWART and RHODES Glens Falls, NY Mr. Burkett is currently under investigation by the Warren County Bar Association for this unethical behavior
