I have known "Peter" since 7th grade at Severn School. Always an elitist back stabbing arrogant phoney. I interviewed with him once. He once again flaunted his immaturity and narcissism. He grossly violated my confidentiality. He invited me to the Chartwell Country Club for a second interview. Without my permission or private knowledge he had a delusional punk elitist narcissist Bob Merkert. Big Bob had previously defamed me and an old girlfriend. It was a "big man" clown act. I should have filed a Bar Complaint for Breach of Confidentiality. I saw him in court numerous times. Always an immature narcissitic punk jerk. On one occasions he laughed in my face, smirked and made 2 year old strange noises as he walked past me like an elementary school bully. All witnessed by my client. He was again breached confidentiality by listening in on a conversation I was having with the client. He was not in any way involved in my case. Again I should have filed a Bar Complaint. Bad L

If you're reading this, you've no doubt been bombarded with advertisements from Peter O'Neill. Ask yourself, why would a good defense attorney need to advertise that excessively? It's a good question. With Peter O'Neill, you will get an attorney who literally does not have the time for you. O'Neill has more than a thousand cases a year . Some traffic, some minor misdemeanors, but others are much more serious. I've talked to former clients and examined his work product. He bills excessively for the work he puts in. Filing copy and paste motions is not worth his fee. He's not the attorney you want. Don't believe me? Look him up in case search. And keep in mind he has even more cases. At the end of the case, O'Neill is very quick to expunge his name from a case.

Peter O'Neill has represented a few of my families cases always with the best results over the years. Just recently my daughter was arrested and charged with 27 counts. The Queen Anne's County Sheriff Department posted her mugshot and news clip of the 27 charges within 24 hours of her arrest on Facebook. It was evident that the people on social media found her immediately guilty, including members of the sheriff's department and their constituents, without knowing any of the truth. This was evident by all the hateful and negative comments they posted. During her court case, Peter O'Neill had 26 charges dropped! My daughter was found guilty on only one charge, and will do time on what she was guilty of. It is imperative to have a very good lawyer like Peter O'Neill.

As a police officer and having seen Mr. O'Neill in court numerous times I will say that if I was in some sort of trouble he is hands down the one and only lawyer I would want defending me. Having dealt with him personally on a case I disagree with other comments stating he is arrogant and rude. Mr. O'Neill is ruthlessly competent, knows his profession and MY profession inside out, and you are paying him for his ABILITY and RESULTS..not to sit there and listen to your endless excuses and BS that most others in your life believe or just tolerate. Pay the man his money, keep your mouth shut, do what you are told..and whether you did it or not you will likely get off. He is a Sith Lord of the legal profession. If you want someone to hold your hand, pretend they believe or care about your issues/problems/excuses..find someone else.

I was unfortunately found in a tough spot years ago. My lawyer, George Lantzis was my lawyer for years. He represented me on a host of different charges stemming from old GF and my career as a bartender. I had DUI's, driving suspended and revoked charges, standing up for female teachers in the are I had failure to obey and infringement charges from the lowly city police. My lawyer was a stud. Changed law as it stands. He appeared in court, wife by his side for my last case with him. He died 3 days later prior to my calling him. He trusted Peter enough to give Everything on me, to Peter. Peter just took to trial a charge for my brother whom is diabetic and all charges dropped. Peter has been a force in this area for decades. If you NEED help, this is the guy. If you want representation, you have many options. Thankfully, Peter realizes that we are lives and we all have them. We work, have family and children, and simply like to eat at home and not in jail. You need a shark? Here it is.

I've been a business woman in AA county for 38 years. I can't count the attorneys I've dealt with during those years. Without a doubt Peter O'Neill is the BEST! Within the last 6 years he has represented my husband on several occasions, DWI, Etc. We are VERY PLEASED with his representation. Mr. O'Neill is absolutely the BEST defense attorney in AA county and probably the State of Maryland. We highly recommend Mr. O'Neill who is need of a GREAT attorney. He is extremely pleasant. Peter O'Neill is absolutely the best defense attorney money can buy. I have used his services more than I should need to, but all with great results. I would never look anywhere else for an attorney. I have referred several friends to him as well and they all had great results too. Peter RULES!!

5 stars all around for Peter O'neill. He saved my life. I was innocent and he worked tirelessly to help me prove it. He IS the best defense attorney in AA county, and probably the state of MD. He actually cares about his clients and was there for my family and I 100%. He is an honest man true to his word and worked hard on my case from start to finish. There truly isn't another defense attorney fit to carry his brief case. From the bottom of my heart I thank GOD for people like Peter O'neill. - James

Peter O'Neill does not have your best interest at heart! Charged an extreme amount of money and never once researched the accuser!! Convinced person to plead GUILTY to a crime he didnt commit. Was late to court several times and on the main day was too busy with another bigger more important trial on his mind. sure wish these judges and lawyers knew what it was like to be totally dependent on someone to prove your innocence. You can be accused of anything at anytime!!This is not the first person I know to be totally sc$#@#d by Oneill. What sucks the most is there is absolutely nothing that can be done because this person pleaded Guilty!! Where have all the good guys/gals gone?? Not everyone charged with a crime is Guilty.Would not use Peter Oneill even if my life depended on it. I would go meet my maker!

Awful, rude, and very disrepectful. If your not a big money case forget about it. He might be good, but only if the case is worth while to him. He has no respect towards people at all, he treats everyone as if they are beneath him!!!!

I fired Peter O'neil for many mistakes he made with my case. He filed the wrong motions and billed me for many inacurate charges. Lucky for me I write everything down. If you hired him- keep track of what he should be charging you. I don't think he made mistakes- he is just a crook.

Peter is by far one of the best attorneys in town. The only reason he would possibly get a bad rating is because he beat you in court.

Knows his way around the courtroom, very straight with client. There is 0 bull with this attorney, he is pricey, but when it comes to lawyers, I believe you get what you pay for. As long as Peter handles your case, from start to finish, expect great results, however it appears he is grooming another lawyer, and sometimes it appears he lets him do some of the dirty work,,,DMV hearings etc.., this attorney is ok, but it seemed to have to get him pumped up to go in for the win. All in all, the outcome to my DWI, was more than I could have expected, not guilty, and a no action. Thanks Guys.

I would want O'Neill in my corner any day. He's always right but he makes you believe it too. That the sign iof a great criminal defense attorney. It may seem like all he cares about is $$ but he he has a passion for what he does and it shines through. he's teaching a prodigy in the young guy, Martino.

This man keeps his word. He sees the client when says he will & thoroughly reviews all aspects of cases prior to proceeding. I have full confidence that the results will be fair and equitable.

Terrible! He didn't show up for trial, instead sending a rookie asst. who lost the case. Complained before trail that the judge was "an ****," thus foreshadowing his loss. Staff filed paperwork improperly for hearing, sent to wrong address. When you finally get him on the phone, he's aggressive with the client! Too bad he doesn't do that in court! This guy is a complete waste of money. He lost the simplest, slam-dunk of a case in history and did nothing but make excuses for it. I ended up pleading guilty on appeal rather than giving him the chance to make it worse!!!
