I have used Carl for many years as an accountant and now for a closing. He has been responsive, communicative and prompt. Don't know what these others are saying - but I will always use Carl.

Carl gensib has been fantastic! Our closing has been a bit of nightmare with the sellers and contractors, and Mr. Gensib has been the shark we needed to get things done. He has maintained regular communications both via telephone and e-mail closing in his office was a breeze.

Carl Gensib: I cannot figure out if this man is sheer incompetent or a crook. I just know from him being my seller's lawyer and I can say from my experience that I've never seen anyone so lax (forget diligence!), so inaccessible, so fuzzy as this one. I don't even want ask the seller how his experience was after what we were put through and the endless stream of delays and bad documents and misdirection. One this he will not miss is to religiously take his break on weekends and take a vacation, no matter how critical. He'll just leave his client to deal with the crap he left behind. Everyone suffers. Be warned.

The worst experience ever! You will never get a hold of him. When you call his office, the secretary (his wife?) answers but he will never call you back. Also his communication skills are horrible - he makes tons of mistakes in his email. (Don't you use spell check before sending out emails?) Do not use him as your lawyer.

carl gensib has avoided responding to calls, emails,and written notices. he follows his own rules of ethics,is disrespectful and not an honest lawyer of accountant. use extreme caution when hiring Mr. gensib

You can never get in touch with him. Whenever you call his office, his secretary will call back. He never does. I visited his office to sign closing documents. He never even came into the room until after it was complete with his secretary. He never sent me any of my closing documents after they were completed by the buyers. He had a horibbl;e filing system. There were piles of paper everywhere in his conference room. It has been 4 months since my closing, when I requested my HUD statement and closing Doc's. I was told they were in storage. I never recieved them and yet he put them in storage. It was a horrible experience with him.
