He charges you for all types of research, and in the end you get raped by the other attorney because he gives in to every demand they make. He does not fight for your rights at all. Click to report rating    6/11/15 Biggest rip off artist in rockland. He was very arrogant and careless. Not detailed oriented in the least. Didn't argue much and gave the other side everything they asked for. He couldn't be bothered with my little divorce. I fired him when after spending 25k and dragging it out for almost a year I still had no final agreement and I finally realized I was getting robbed blind. Very self centered... He doesnt answer proposals from opposing council, doesnt allow you into your files, uses profanity. When you dont give him more money he threatens to give you the other lawyers in his firm that are new. He is unethical and a liar . RID: 123961
Click to report rating    7/20/13 I had a great experience with James Sexton. He gave me good advice in my divorce and kept me informed and feeling empowered. He was a good negotiator and was amazing in the Courtroom particularly when the case (unfortunately) had to go to trial. I was very happy with the result of my case and would recommend James Sexton to anyone in need of an intelligent, experienced and responsive family law attorney. RID: 118954
