Seems not to care about the client. Doesn't return the calls or read the messages left on his cell phone. Very passive in court. Seems to forget that a client who is false accused shouldn't be treated as guilty and ignored, left in jail soon 1 year, when it was supposed to be 1 day.He promises to visit the client and doesn't keep his word. Don't hire him, with ou without legal aid!

Mr. Fournier was my divorce lawyer. Left numerous messages and even when I finally got an appointment it was like I was bothering him. Never followed thru on anything we discussed. I do not recommend this lawyer as he always asks for money but never does any of the work. No invoice or letter stating we are working on your case nothing but give me more money in order for me to look into this REALLY.

Do NOT hire this lawyer. He is disorganized, unresponsive, he is a reactive lawyer (when he does react) rather than proactive. He asks for more money but won't send you an invoice for any of the work he claims he's done! You may as well represent yourself because he doesn't even do that even when you're in the courtroom. Plan and simple, seek counsel elsewhere!

This is the worse lawyer ever. I am surprised he is still practising! Will take a retainer, will start the work and 3 years later you will still be waiting to go forward! Never returns calls! I have asked for a bill, never gives you one but will complain that he has done all kinds of work and is not getting paid. This man is crazy! Do not hire him!

I asked him to help me with my separation case. He told me he'd start by writing a letter to my ex and took a 75$ check from me. He never wrote that letter and when I called multiple times to ask about the letter he'd never take my calls. He cashed my check no problem though. This has happened a few years ago and never got my money back.

George was my first lawyer when I was separating from my husband in 2002. He idealized my husbands lawyer and did & believed everything he said. No fight and I worked my butt off getting everything in order for him only to misplace documents and was rarely prepared for our meetings (which were pointless other than for billing me for the time). Your lawyer shouldn't be asking you why you have the appt HE called! Talks a good game in the office but can't pull it off after you've left.

Don't use this Lawyer. Genuinely can't speak about his knowledge as he has done nothing but dodge my calls for months. Had a great consult with him, then nothing for months. Ridiculous that he even has a practice. Go to anyone but this guy. If you have found yourself in an already stressful situation that requires the aid of a lawyer, having a lawyer that does nothing and never returns calls only adds to it.

I had a traffic ticket in Espanola, I drove from Brampton to fight it, when I arrived Mr. Fournier was unorganized, didn't give me the police officer's notes until the day of even though I requested before, and he was rude. The court date ended up getting rescheduled after I sat there till 5 pm, and then I had to come back for another court date. Everyone that I spoke to at court, was going through the same thing. This has now cost me 2 days off work, 2 nights in a hotel and 2 trips from Brampton to Espanola. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible criminal defense lawyer! Plead guilty prior to hiring him, kept case going for over a year, did not attend court, did not fight for me at all or get a better deal, did not call me back and no updates. If you need a criminal defense lawyer from legal aid, DO NOT Use this guy!

I can not speak to Mr. Fournier's knowledge or work quality as I have not met the man nor have seen his works...Still waiting for his response to my lawyer. Mr. Fournier has been the opposing counsel in my separation/divorce for three years or better. Still waiting for a response. Mr. Fournier, does not respond to letters/emails or phone calls from my lawyer. In my opinion, that would constituted poor, communication, tenacity and value.

Highly regret using this man as a lawyer. Makes promises he cant keep. Will take your money and then refuse to return your phone calls or emails. Offers no excuse ad to why he neglects you. Seems to not know the details of the case he took on. I had to constantly remind him what i was even requesting for my case. I felt cheated anf robbed after using this lawyer. Monotone voice does nothing in way of intimidation with opposing counsel.. and he actually insulted me. I feel sorry for anyone who dares use this man.

MR. Fournier was handling my child custody issues. He was great!!!! He really understood what needed to be done and was honest and up front- I could not have asked for anything better. Highly Recommend.

I would NEVER recommand this lawyer to anyone. Doesnt return phone calls or emails. Drags things along to make more money. He does seem to be very knowledgeble but has no respect for you as a client. I hired Mr Fournier for my "amicable" seperation....he managed to drag this process over 18 months.....

I retained Mr. Fournier a few months ago to represent me in a criminal and family case. He got me off of an impaired charge. The crown attorney reduced my charge to careless driving instead. I didnt get a criminal record and was able to drive cause my license wasn't suspended. He also got me shared custody of my kids. Very thankful for all of his help.

If you want a timely divorce; find a good lawyer and this isn't one of them. Very costly and works at a snails pace. Does not communicate with his client or the opposition representation. Unreasonably drags matters out either because of laziness or for more money.

Do not use this lawyer, his communication skill are really bad, his knowledge is good, however does not practice what he preaches. He does go through a lot of secretaries probably because they are tired of fielding all the calls from pissed off clients. Word of advice, if your ex has a lawyer from the Sudbury area, make sure to hire a lawyer from out of town, this is like a gentlemen club and all they want is your money..

I must say that this man knows his stuff. Mr. Fournier always treated me with respect and also made me feel at ease. Since he has been my lawyer, his office has always been in contact and never made me feel as though I was bugging them with a million questions. Maybe it was different when he was with the other firm, but as an independent office my needs and wants have always been met. I thank him so much for all of his help and I would recommend him to anyone. Feel free to private message me.

Mr. Fournier recently completed a divorce for me including custody and access issues I had. I really enjoyed working with him. He has his own practice now. He completed the work quickly and at a rate I thought was very reasonable. He is very personable and effective. I have no problem recommending him. He also does criminal law and recently got my nephew out of a serious jam. My nephew was very pleased with his services.

Would not reccomend. Impossible to get a hold of, goes through many assistants all who have seemed useless. With held information from me, makes promises he cant keep. All talk no action. So disappointed. Worst decision choosing him.

Mr. Fournier represented me in my divorce. I was constantly frustrated by the time he took to act on each phase of the process. I certainly would not recommend him as a divorce lawyer.

He was opposing counsel in my case and dragged the issue out in court for six years as he failed to recognise the facts and trueth. Spent alot of effort wasting the courts time. Proved to be excessively costly for his clients in my case.

hardworking, trustworthy, communicates well,knowledgable. not afraid to take on a fight. Confidant, responsible, to the point. He will not let you down. However he has a very busy practice, and it Is difficult to get through sometimes. But he has a great deal of patience, and he always treats his clients with respect at all times. He knows the law, and he is a lawyer you can count on.
