I had checked with three other firms but went with Jan Kodner based on his online reviews, and I'm glad that I did. His firm was excellent in all respects. His assistant Vicki kept me informed and was prompt at returning my calls. James Leeny, his associate attorney, did an excellent job of preparing me for the hearing and helped clarify things I didn't understand. They helped me get the best results possible. I am very happy with Jan and highly recommend his firm.

My appreciation comes from the reconciliation prize position. I was not able to get full disability. Jan Kodner's knowledge showed well in his personally informing me midways through my case that "they" just won't give it to me, for explained reasons. Some month after winning the supplementary type of disability, I called up the Kodner office to ask help in properly filling out a Social Security form tracking my income usage. I learned that I can't get a lawyer from the Kodner office to specifically advise me on how to fill out the form The explained reason for this were that a disability law firm is not allowed to incur charges for such a service. I received the Kodner office's hearty wish of good luck and a pat on the back that I surely know how to fill out a form. I did so, and the Social Security severely reduced my monthly SSI amount. Now Social Security wants me to pay money back. Hey, but at last, in this hole, now Kodner can help me. How nice! It is to have a lawyer.

My daughter just received word that her Social Security Disability appeal was successful. I don't believe for a minute that we could have done this without Jan Kodner and his team. Jan is extremely knowledgeable about the SS disability process. His office staff kept us updated always knowing the status of our appeal with every call. I also believe that his reputation in this industry helped our case come to a successful resolution. Jan L. Kodner and Associates are the best!

I have always been a challenge for lawyers to work with because I have a good knowledge of how the court system and political process work. Jan and I meshed well right away. You have to listen to him, take his advise, follow-up on what he says, and fight for your case. He will too. Remember, you are partners in your case. He knows his business and believes in what he does. He loves to help people and that is a big part of his reward. He is great at what he does and very efficient. Listen to his counsel. We finished my case in less than six months. He is a great guy and a great attorney.

This firm was fantastic while handling my Social Security Disability case. Mr. Kodner and his Associates worked very hard. My case lasted over 6 years and they never gave up. The communication was excellent along with their administrative staff. I would recommend Mr.Kodner, as he did not give up and fought for my rights.

Jan Kodner did a fantastic job with my disability claim to social security. My wife and I were not doing well when my hip went bad and I couldn't work any longer, after calling Jan we were on our way to getting the disability we needed and deserved. If you don't know whether or not you qualify, give them a call, they will walk you through it and make it as easy as possible to apply.

Avoid this firm! They're rude and inconsiderate! They have no interest in anything but, getting their hands on your back pay! As a matter of fact they will receive their payment while you are still without and do nothing to accelerate the process for you to be paid! They lie and are very rude!!! DO NOT USE Kodner and Associates!!!

He got my disability for me. I used him right away in the beginning, and that was a good choice. Anyone looking for disability, don't do it alone use a lawyer right away. I got $40,000 prorate, and paid him $6000. He is worth every penny.

This Law firm knows what they are doing and are highly efficent with it. Sometimes you may feel like they are not in communication with you, but that is simply because they know you have enough on your plate and dont want to bug you for something that doesn't matter. Although it took a ruling from the Administrative law judge to get the result we wanted, they stuck by myside the whole way through and was extremely patient with me. Think about it from their point of view, it is either an all or nothing case for them, and they make sure they do the best for a favorable decision as their money is dependent on it. They will never let that show through though, ad that just furthers my view of their professionalism.....

Jan was exceptional when it came to representing me for disability. He helped me along as to what was going to happen with each step. The only criticism I have is the communication. However, I did ask a lot of questions I needed to know for my own personal information, just to be calmed. All in all I recommend Jan to anyone who wants someone with great tenacity and rapport to represent them. He gets the job done efficiently. Thank you Jan for being our lawyer.
