Great lawyer. Honest and a straight shooter with good news or bad. I have 3 other lawyers for professional use and Matt is by far top notch.
I read a previous comment and will respond from personal experience and hope it helps. Aggressive does not mean effective and aggressive attorneys are often not realistic.

Doesn't return phone calls. Very unprofessional...swears and cusses. Used his friendship with opposing attorney to push for a settlement as opposed to fighting in court and "blind siding" opposing attorney with our damaging evidence. Worst attorney I've used in Grand Rapids.

Matt did a great job for my family and I. He was responsive and made sure we understood all aspects of our case. He pled our case to the Judge in a very eloquent way. Could not be happier.

Always last minute. Unprepared and very arogant! I have no idea why, he's not that good! He will tell you one thing and then not do it or have some excuse why he didn't have time or thought better of it. He's very chauvinistic as my wife didn't like him from the start. She ended up having a better ead on him than i did. He's one of the bad ones.....probably graduated from Cooley by the skin of his teeth! NEVER AGAIN!
