Brilliant! Attorney English was recommended by a fellow co-worker; so happy I took the recommendation. We only met twice in his office all other correspondence was taken care of via email or phone in a timely fashion. This case started August of 2016 (with emergency custody) and we won in May of 2017! This was a complicated custody battle ; this case with any other attorney would of ended shortly after it begun due to the nature of the case and the circumstances in which we had the temporary order . With Attorney English's knowledge and superior skills my husband was allowed to keep custody until the completion of the case even after the emergency custody was dropped. His assistant Wendy was excellent to work with as well, if I could not obtain a records needed she was make a call and get the required item. Never once had any issues with Attorney English or his assistant. I cannot stop raving of his work would use him again and highly recommend him. Thank You! Thank You ! Thank You!

DO NOT HIRE! Stay as far away as possible! Before hiring him, he TALKS a great game, after hiring him, you wont EVER hear from him! When you finally get a chance to speak with him, he will have you come in for ANOTHER meeting & tell you all the things he is going to do (file motions, get you info you request, actually DO HIS JOB) but as soon as that meeting is over, so is his time on your case because, anything he told you he was going to do will NOT get done & then, its another battle just to get him to respond to you. He is an absolute LIAR!!! He should be disbarred & never allowed to practice again! An attny is ethically obligated to represent his clients to the "best of his ability" & if the best of Brent's ability is to do absolutely nothing for your case, then he is upholding his obligation because thats all he does, NOTHING!

He talks a good game, made me believe we would prevail, NOT!!! then we went all the way to the Supreme Court which would not hear my case!!! I never heard from him again, didn't even thank me for the 10 grand I gave him.

Im not sure how this firm managed to get a half decent review from anyone, all I can figure is that its someone related. We have had nothing but trouble with every aspect when dealing with EVERYONE at this office. Wendy is absolutely rude, inconsiderate and down right nasty. Brent is, well thats if he ever returns your calls or emails, he is very short and obviously just to busy to deal with you. Cases go on for YEARS (literally) when in all actuality they are simple, small detailed situations that should be done in the matter of weeks. You are never updated with anything and don't dare call in for any details because Wendy has no time for you. Voicemails, emails and texts all go ignored. I honestly can not recall one good experience in all the years dealing with this office. If you choose to use this office I suggest you make it worth their while (money wise) because they are above dealing with small cases, hopefully you will have better luck when they are getting a significant payout

Have had Mr. English work on several issues for us over the past several years. So far, we have never lost a case with Mr. English at the helm. He is like a bulldog...when he locks into a case, he doesn't let go. He is very well versed on the law and how to use it.

This is in response to post on Feb 19 th. I am the actual client for this case and let me tell you if it wasn't for Brent English we wouldn't have a case. He is very good at what he does!!! I also want to thank him for bringing this to my attention for I didn't know about it until he did. To the person who wrote this, don't meddle in other peoples lives it causes more hurt than Good. I publicly want to apologize to Brent who does not deserve this outlash.

Been fighting a case since February 2013, after 8 extensions, missing court deadlines, no communication with anyone in office, and we are still not out of litigation. He has the audacity because we demand truthful answers from our attorney, who we paid all money up front, that maybe we need to revaluate our relationship. Very frustrating to be jerked around by someone whom you pay to be in your corner.

Best lawyer I ever worked with.Top of his class, along with the team he has behind him.There are great lawyers out there and I have worked with a number of them over the years and I have no reason to call anyone else. I will use Brent L English and his top professional team.We went to trail and Mr English ,against all odds won at trial for us!!!

Mr. English is at the top of his game in the area of litigation. That area of expertise requires he is in court most of the daylight hours and deals with his clients in responding to e-mails, phone calls when he is not in court - night hours. I don't understand anyone who says he is not responsive. There is a tremendous amount of preparation for trial - and Brent is always meticulously prepared. There also has to be trust between client and lawyer - if you don't always get a quick answer to your phone call or e-mail, it's because he's working on a case. Regardless, Brent English is always ready for your case and knocks the other side off the floor. With this rating system topping off at "Good" it doesn't allow for "Great". You would want Brent English as your advocate in any type of litigation. He is simply "Great". He is stalwart, smart, totally committed to advocating for you and your case. FInally, he is more than capable of taking your case to the Court of Appeals.

Horrible to deal with, never does what he says, drags his feet on simple matters, never returns phone calls, messages, or emails. Acts like a child in court. His office staff is as bad as he is, never gives him messages. He is always busy with "other matters"

Brilliant is an understatement; this guy can out-think any judge and any opposing counsel on most any issue. His fees are reasonable and he works 15+ hours days on a regular basis. He is the uber advocate. That said, his workload overwhelms him at times, interferring with his availability for hearings, and resulting in horrible communication with his clients. On the whole, my recommendation is to suck-up the unreturned calls and retain Brent and focus on the big picture.

Incredibly smart lawyer, however he is a horrible communicator. You want him in your corner, however the time it takes for you to go to Court or have your matter resolved could literally be YEARS! Also, he never returns callr or sends letters to client informing them of the status of their matter. Will also lie and tell you something has been filed when a simple check of the Court's docket proves otherwise.
