The other reviews seem very old and outdated. He is a strong and hard working attorney. He is very honest and realistic. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first experience with a lawsuit.

This guy is out to lunch, every day of the week for months at a time. Hired him to help a relative & no contact ever. His work ethic reflects his office, messed up.

Attorney Muawad acquired my case in earlier 2010. In mid 2012, he strongly suggested an extremely low settlement with one company for my injuries. Than decided to pursue another party suggesting a settle for the same low amount. In the settlement letter, I was informed that if I did not accept the settlement amount within 22 days I would be counter sued for their attorney fee and the offered amount. The slip and fall resulted in 2 surgeries. I suffer with (2) buldging disk, dislocated vertebates, lumbars and mounting medical bills. I'm in constant pain unable to sit, stand or sleep. My day consist of taking medication to function. When this was verbalized to Mr. Muawad his response was, "your slip and fall took place in Oakland County and unfortunately the laws are not good for victims in Oakland County." In my current condition at age 55, no insurance, unemployed and unable to function, I'm headed for disability. I have no quality of life or attorney working on my behave!

THIS LAW FIRM CALLED OUR HEALTH CARE OFFICE DEMANDING PATIENT INFORMATION AND TOLD OUR DIRECTOR OF NURSING TO GO TO HELL WHEN WE DID NOT RELEASE THE INFORMATION. ANY ATTORNEY & HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL ALL KNOW ABOUT THE HIPPA LAWS!!! THIS ATTORNEY DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS TO ADDRESS HIS STAFF AND THE UNPROFESSIONAL LANGUAGE THAT THEY USE WHEN SPEAKING TO OTHER PROFESSIONALS.

Did not pay attention to detail and showed up late always using his family as an excuse. I have a family too and make sure I show up to my job and court hearings on time.

I read the reviews and tho the client is important too - i'm glad Brian has extreme value for his family. It's taking some time for this personal injury case I am having him work on - but he has great sense of humor and great family values. An attny with no family values is not an attny for me!! I'm sitting neutral on most of the answers i give only due to the fact of the time issue. He is very knowlegable. All medical was paid due to his suggestion PRIOR to my signing on with him. Getting the medical paid wth no issues was very important to me at that particular time. The (his) process for filing a law suit is very time consumming. Of course - another year down the road - I may be re-rating. I wont be one to judge him on negative basis due to his family values. Always make an educated decision - besides... we all know how LONG and drawn out this stuff can REALLY be - not by fault of the attny most generally.

I've been waiting almost four years for him to settle my worker's comp case. I'm pretty sure he missed a filing or two. The first hearing he told me that I did not have to attend, but the next hearing came around I attended anyway. He seemed a little to friendly. He made no demands just sat there and agreed with everything the other attorney had to say. He asked me about the company's policy on my long term disability. I call them, the response was as long as I was still disable I would received my disability. The lawsuit had nothing to do with my payments. He finally contacted the office in 09. The response came from the company's legal firm Kitch Attorneys and Counselors with Victor J. Abela representing in his letter to Muawad he stated that if I terminated employment with Dana I would waive all rights and repayment some of it. Now I get another letter from the company stating I was only allowed 28 months of disability and would have to repay the last 35 months.

This attorney , shows up late for hearings, and is more worried about his family life than the law, and his clients.
