I hired David Hesser to appeal a child custody decision. Mr. Hesser had the decision reversed and the reversal was upheld by the Louisiana Supreme Court. Ultimately the U.S. Supreme declined to modify the reversal---which was the happiest day of my life. Feel free to ask Mr. Hesser about my case. The vast majority of attorneys spend an entire career without being able to boast that their legal work was reviewed and approved by the U.S. Supreme Court so I'm pretty sure he will know which case you are asking about. I laughed a little when reading a few negative comments saying he did not promptly return phone calls. David is a specialist and takes his work seriously---he's not a babysitter so don't hire him if all you want to do is complain about your baby mama/daddy. If you are serious about your case then hire David Hesser.

David Hesser is the most ethical and honest attorney I know. I would trust him with any legal issue that I need help with. He also is the most knowledgeable and best at knowing the laws in Louisiana and Texas and knowing all relevant previous rulings. He is meticulous in his pleadings and always puts his clients first He is not part of the good old boys network. He sincerely cares about the families and children he represents. He does not take time off to golf and vacation and goof off for weeks at a time. He is prepared for court and starts working early and leaves the office late and works weekends. He will never let you down within the limits of what the law and a judge allow. I would trust him with my life and would recommend his legal skill to anyone who needs a legal advocate.

Very bad attorney. Worst choice that one can make. They never return phone calls, you will not know what is going on with your case. He is Board Certified in Family which makes one think they are getting a great attorney, but he fails in the courtroom.

He can't orally advocate on your behalf and its an embarrassing courtroom experience. When he messes up, he still charges you. What a scumbag thief.

This attorney is very special. The first time I spoke to him he took the time to find out about me and my case. He was well prepared when I went to court. He knew the custody law and how to win my case. I got custody of my son after attorney Hesser recommended a custody evaluation. All the other attorneys I spoke to did not give me a chance.

Worst LAW FIRM ever!!! Hired David to represent me for custody rights. Never met him once. Never returns calls. Does not matter if they are in court all the time they have a responsibility to all clients. Finally I was pawned off to another attorney in the office Trey who is just as bad. He has an assistant who has no clue what is going on. Worst communication ever. On top of that they did not help in my hearings. Could have done what they did myself. BE AFRAID!!!

This Lawyer, David Hesser was in New Orleans and made me loose my business by saying that the way to deal with my land lord, was to take my case out of civil court and place it in Bankruptcy Court, and that He was an Expert in Bankruptcy. Turn out he had never filed Bankruptcy before and when HE LOST MY BUSINESS, the only thing he told me was: Whew! Did I get beaten! No apology, the next year he advertised in the Yellow Pages as a BANKRUPTCY EXPERT! After all the malpractices in New Orleans, he had to move to Alexandria... Don't trust this Sheister!

blew my exs attorney out of the water in court. He was spot on about what the other side would do and was prepared for court. Had some problems with communication at times but David is in court almost everyday. I had to be patient but it was worth it. I got shared custody of my daughter when EVERY attorney I spoke to said I would only get every other weekend.

David Hesser has been very helpful in getting me custody of my child he and Danny Slater have always answered all my questions and made everything easy to understand he is kind of expensive but you get what you pay for

I hired David Hesser and I never meet him went to court 3 times and never meet before... To make matters worse he sent his underling who knew nothing and was and was force to drive 24 hours every weekend for 7 months my kids went through hell and they did nothing hired a new lawyer and my situation was fixed in a week. Do bot get them they almost never return your calls ad talk a really good game and do not back it up. I told them I got a new lawyer then David contacted me stating I was making a mistake this is what HE does try custody cases..... REALLY WHEN

Took my money, didnt do a damn thing. I lost my kids, my house, my car and my dog. She even got the boat although she doesnt know how to swim

This firm talks a good game. But once you hired them, they completely forget about you.ETC don't return phone calls or out the office. Its been months since i hired them the only thing i got from them is a letter to send them more money. Worst mistake i made 1,500 down the drain.
