Stay away from this lawywer. He kept making promises but never acted. Everything dragged out, he raised his prices, and then quit at the last second just before going into a negotiation with no warning. According to the law society ethics they aren't supposed to quit when you have something happening.

Mat and his team were amazing. I met with several lawyers before and none of them seemed to understand what I was dealing with. Mat knew right away and helped me feel sane for the first time in months. He replied to every email promptly and with a clear plan. He did his best to keep fees down while still providing exemplary service. His assistant and associates were professional and empathetic. They were also very accommodating - holding meets both in person and over teams which helped with my busy schedule. I was an emotional wreck fighting for shared custody and we ended up having to go to trial. Mat and Gurjant were very calm and professional and we ended up getting more than what I was asking for. This was the absolute worst time of my life and Mat and his team helped me through every step of the way. I couldn't have gotten what I did without them or with any other lawyer. I can't thank them enough for everything they did.

Stay away from this lawyer. Could not perform in court. It seemed like he used the same closing he uses in every case except changed the name. I lost a fairly easy case because the opposing junior associate lawyer blew him out of the water. He is a partner. I lost the case and disputed the bill due to bad performance and he charged me additional for complaining with his boss. Then they froze my bank accounts and took out money then they double billed my credit card. Stay away!

I had my first consultation with Matt today. He was prompt, and I was surprised by how incredibly genuine he was. This was my first consultation of many with other firms where I didn’t feel like a “free” consultation. He was concise and intentionally clear on the steps I need to take and was very patient and kind to answer my questions. His strategy to get me started was a huge relief and a breath of fresh air for the first time in starting this unfortunate choice I have to make. I do not need to have another meeting to know that he will be representing me. I highly recommend Matt!!

Mat took over my case in the dying minute. He had to clean up a messy case he had inherited from my previous Counsel. Mat is very result focused. He provided objective advice throughout my case, guiding every step of the way. He could almost always pre-empt the response from the Opposing Counsel and Arbitrator, thus guiding in making sound judgement call. He is strategic in his approach, advising on how to make cost effective decisions. He took over my case and cleaned up as much as he could, from the mess made by former Counsel. I wish I had found him earlier. Highly recommend.

Hired Matt for independent legal advice for a divorce I was going through. I wish I would have contacted him first before spending money and time with another lawyer.
