I gave him two cheques to do a probate. He told me he would call me to sign documents when they are ready. He never called back I called him a month after he told me he stopped working on it. He couldn’t even give me a courtesy call The lawyer they compleated for me did it a a Quarter of the price

A Clown whose muse is a Ruse. Efforts only in Billing , not Results. Needs a peer Review, and a license suspension. Helps perpetuate Shady Lawyer Image. Shame on you Get off our North Shore Land please and Thankyou Goof!

I fully agree with the last comment; we found exactly the same thing, a short conversation, 5 emails and 3 lines of text - $900!! outrageous for service provided. Don't spend time on the phone with small talk, that too is billed. an buyer beware as per previous comments

Be careful if you engage Mr. Hetherington's services. From my experience his fee runs about $300/hour. His knowledge seems decent, but he will charge you for even the most minor thing. Also, be very clear when you think a matter needs no further action on his part, because he will try to follow up, e.g. just by sending you an email, and then charge you for that time.
