Kristin handled my family law case wonderfully. She was honest and put a lot of work into my case. I found her to be very caring and supportive. I would highly recommend her.

I had four major issues with Kristen, 1 poor communication, 2 lack of strategic direction, 3 unwillingness to answer questions and 4 a lackadaisical approach to the work. Quick to pull the "trust" card when confronted about lapses. Will bail on you when you need her most.

I hired her based on recommendations of a coworker,but I wish I hadn't. She billed me for lengthy useless emails, copies, ... She pretended that she was listening to my concerns, but her paper work was otherwise. When I needed her, she was not returning my calls. She over charged me and at the end she lost my case. What a b***!

Most of my ideas about the court sytem and law came from TV. I discovered these were based on the American system which is not the same as the Canadian. I was impressed by how often and clearly Ms Rongve explained the Canadian way. I found that she was polite and caring of my concerns. I didn't get everything I wanted but it was,in retrospect, fair. I felt that she listened to me

Kristin worked well for me and made sure that I understood everything in my case. She billed at a reasonable level and was willing to explain anything that I questioned. She did not guarantee success but worked hard to give it to me.

She is horrible . She has her own personal issues. There is no balance in her approach to cases. She definitely makes the process as lengthy as posiible to grab more money from you. She is a waste of your money and time. Avoid her at all costs! She handled my divorce case and got the worst result possible. I paid her a lot of money for nothing. I would have been better off without her. She sounded smart and reliable and understanding at the beginning, but they were all to extract money from me and no result.

I hired this lawyer when I was in a pinch for time and while she put on a good show at first it only took two weeks for me to start questioning my decision. She assumed much and politely dismissed my concerns and when I later found some errors in the documentation we were producing rather than address and correct them she got her nose out of joint and suggested I find a new lawyer if I could not trust her. Glad to let her go because I do not want her representing me if/when my case goes to court. Bottom line is she was not interested in getting to know what I was up against and expected me to trust her implicitly.She is good at generating lengthy emails that are not relevant to the case and charging you for it. Trust is earned not given just because you have a law degree.
