I was referred to Gelman & Associates from several acquaintances who have used their services in the past and who were very impressed. After using Gelman & Associates myself, I can now highly recommend Lisa Gelman's law firm myself.
It does not take long after working with the law firm to see the calibre and expertise of all the associates. Lisa Gelman and everyone at the firm work extremely hard to deliver the results that clients have come to expect.
I have never worked with a group of lawyers before that communicate as well as Gelman & Associates does. During every step of the process, I was kept informed, aware and up to date with everything. This level of communication creates a great sense of comfort and trust in a law firm, at a time it is needed most.
I trust Lisa Gelaman and all the associates at her firm, I highly recommend them to anyone requiring their services, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Horrible display of courtesy . Lisa was referred to me from a fellow colleague and senior Toronto lawyer . This was only for an initial consultation and knowing she wasn’t going to represent me I wasn’t really expecting to much from her and definitely not expecting much of her time . Her office was aggressive in collecting an up front credit card payment of almost two hundred dollars . This should of been my red flag . I reluctantly payed the amount wich was demanded twice before consultation . After receipt of payment , Lisa’s staff informed me she left the office sick 30 mins before our consultation . They tried to get me to talk to one of her underlings . I was in disbelief with the lack of dis respect and how un professional this dirty tactic seamed to me. I have dealt with this country’s top litigation lawyers and not once has any of them charged me like this , to try the old bait and switch . I didn’t get an email or call from her at all apologizing for being unable .

I met with Lisa. She was wonderful to talk to, very friendly and very knowledgeable of the Family Law. I strongly recommend her to anyone with Family Law issues. She is up to date with the law, informative, fast and she is a winner. The best I can do for you, please call her office, meet her and judge for your self.

I hired the law firm of Gelman and Associates to help me with my family case. My initial interactions were with Lisa Gelman. She was responsive, empathetic and kind. Her team (both the lawyers and support staff) are great and very professional. They helped me reach a very fair settlement and helped me get on with my life. I would highly recommend Gelman and Associates for someone needing a family law lawyer.

Lisa Gelman is an outstanding family lawyer. Her staff including Poroshad Mahdi and Danica Milutinovic are knowledgeable, efficient and caring. They handled my separation agreement and my divorce brilliantly. They executed the documents in record time. I am now working with Poroshad on a marriage contract. I have complete confidence in this firm and highly recommend their services.
