Sherin Thawer has been honest and forthright. She takes to heart every client she has. I have found her to be more than trustworthy. Immigration is a very complicated matter. Sherin took my case when no one else would have given it two looks, her office handled my work authorization and has been very helpful after a month i already had a work permit and the office is fast to respond to any issues that i ask for.

Even though my work seems to be getting done. Her office staff is good but Sherin is a really arrogant person. Her email replies are unprofessional. Looks down on people and disrespect you. Never analyze the situation or problem as whole and acts kiddish when you point out something wrong, ends up blaming the client. Communication skills are the worst. Does not value your time.

we hired Sherin for our E 2 case from Pakistan. She was helpful from the beginning to the end, guiding us from the investment, to transfer of money, the corporation, bank account everything. It was like having a guardian angel by our side. Our case was approved in 60 days without any queries and we are most grateful to her. Thank you Sherin ! You defintley have the Power ! With your support and patience my Dadi finally got her citizenship. At 85 years old, her wish was to be Citizen. We all tried to help her but she failed twice befoe. Bit with Sherin and her caring team they taught her English and Civics and she PASSED with flying colors ! we are indebted to you always. Short review: This is rudest attorney (in fact, rudest person) I have ever met in my life. I paid for her time, but walked out feeling like I was schooled and scolded in front of strangers. She has no respect for your time, or situation, she will give you answers that you can google yourself and figure out. If you read this review and still decide to go see her, good luck, but I would not go to her if she’s the only attorney alive in the whole universe. An extremely smart person to wiggle around all your questions and never answer the question that you really want the answer for and will keep on charging your card to pay her bills and when you dare to ask her about the progress or the charge that is on your card, you have dug your own grave because than her mission will be to get you deported. It has happened to my friend. The mental trauma my friend had to go through is indescribable. And then she goes on and threaten you that she will get you or your family deported. At that time you can not do anything cause you already have given her your hard earned money and you will end up leaving that money to her and find another lawyer. I would suggest find a lawyer that will be polite, professional and will listen your problem and will work with you in resolving your problem. Sherin Thawer does completely opposite to all these things. GOOD LUCK IF YOU ARE WORKING WITH HER, IF NOT DONT BOTHER.

I give her 1 on everything because there is no option for '0'. She is very very rude and very unprofessional. She basically doesn't get any obligation regarding the result of your case so what's point even get her? I had to correct their mistakes 4 times and yet i filled all the forms for her as well. I always regert that i payed her money. If i would put gas on my money and burn them i would but not giving her a penny. DO NOT GO THERE or else you will have same feeling as i have now. JUST REGRET....

Hello Everybody!
I’m really so glad that I received my H1B approval with the help of Sherin and her team. She has great team with experienced attorneys. I stuck last year with another attorney and she failed twice in four months.
One of my friends has recommended Sherin Thawer Law firm. Finally, I have my H1B approval with me GOD greatness! She is great attorney with full of confidence in her job. This is true that she is disciplined and focused. By the way, if there is discipline then only you can accomplish your task.

if i had listened to this lawyer i would have lost my PR status. Do not ever go to this lawyer. she only cares about money. she gave me wrong advised and told me that i will never get it. but i got the PR. this is the worst attorney i have ever met in my life. please stay away from her.

I 200% agree with above comments that she is really and really rude. I have never ever met in US somebody who charges you $150 and yet gives no second opinion at all!!
its only 30 mins appointments and she answers only yes or no to your questions so that it will not go beyond 5-10 mins.
Somebody should teach her, to be atleast polite and soft spoken like pictures of people she has put in her office - bill clinton , kennedy. They are doing more bad to her impression than good because i am sure they treat humans like humans.
Guys she is a complete waist.

I would like to post a few comments about Shirin's work knowledge, values, and discipline. First, I made a telephone apointment with her and she rescheduled it 4 times before taking the call. Second, prior to the telephone call, I had sent her all my papers for her to review and be prepared to answer my qustions. To my dismay, she did not reveiw the documents and was clueless of the applicable law in my case. Third, she was demeaning in her tone as if I was a criminal and a third rate citizen. She feels others do not measure up to her high standards. Fourth, whatever advise she gave me, I double checked with the best Immigration attorney in Dallas (even though it costed me $500/hr), and guess what, everything Shirin had told me was WRONG! My advise, stay away from her if you want a good outcome. Her radio show is not a philanthrophy, but instead a marketing sham. In my dealings with Sherin, she has been honest and forthright. She takes to heart every client she has. I have found her to be more than trustworthy. The problem I fear with the other responses herein is that people do not understand that you can't win them all and immigration is a very complicated matter. As well, the government wants to kick us all out anyway. So it is an uphill battle.

Worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. She has a bad attitude. When I finally realized she was incompetent or trying to rob me blind(one or the other) I sought other opinions and turns out that not one of the several attorneys I spoke to could figure out what she was trying to do. I ended up releasing her when I discoverd that I could get my case represented from beginning to end by a well known firm in the area for less than I had already paid her to do absolutely nothing. I trusted her in a very emotional and tramatic time and it almost destroyed our life. I have learned to seek the advise of more than one attorney and always trust my instinct. I felt uncomfortable and she told me she had everything ready to go. The problem was what she prepared was for a motion we were not eligible for and after that she didn't do much of anything. I know what the term sleezy attorney means now.
